CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT

There was nothing but slience as Emily was sitting outside on the balcony, drinking coffee. She placed her cup in her hands firmly, thinking about last night. She giggled to herself and closed her eyes for a second and then opened them again. She was now someone's wife and it all seemed pretty surreal.

She took another sip and then placed the cup down. As she looked back up she saw her husband smiling back at her. He was wearing a loose shirt with shorts and trainers. He stroked the back of her neck and gave her a long kiss "good morning wife" he whispered in her ear, sweetly. She gazed back up at him "good morning husband" she replied and gave him another kiss "yesterday was incredible" he commented, trying not to smirk. Emily smirked back and gave him a flirty look "and we're on honeymoon now so it's only going to get better" she commented, her eyes still fixed on his. He laughed and kissed her forehead "oh I know" he replied, trying to flirt back.

They stopped and looked at each other for a few short moments before going in for another kiss. Emily pulled away "we've got half an hour" she added, reaching for his arm. He grinned, knowing exactly what she had in my mind.

Without warning, he picked her up, Emily gasped "I told you not to do that" she shouted, trying to breath because she was laughing that much. Jamie kissed her "Well I want too" he said, kissing her again as well as going back into their apartment.

A hour later

As Emily and Jamie reached the house, they stepped out of the car. Ella opened the door and welcomed them both with a warm smile, Jamie stepped in first and looked around "where are the girls?" He asked, turning back to face her. She fasten her dressing gown back up and looked at him "they are upstairs, I can get them for you if you want?" she replied, starting to walk towards the stairs. He nodded "thank you" he said, as he watched her make her way upstairs. He looked around and then at Emily, wondering where Jared is.

Briefly, Ella and the girls strolled back down. Jamie held his arms out "I hope you've both been good?" He asked, jokingly. They laughed and jumped in his arms. Ella grabbed their things and grinned "we've had a great time" she said, passing Jamie their belongings.

Emily gave her a hug and holding onto her lovingly "I'm going to miss you so much" she said, sighing. She held her back "I'll miss you too but your only going on Honeymoon, you aren't moving to Ireland forever!" She exclaimed and then let out a laugh. Emily rolled her eyes, laughing "yes I know that but it's a mini honeymoon" she replied, letting go of her. She squeezed her shoulder "You should go on a proper honeymoon, make the most of it" she stated, smiling. Emily played with her hair "we are having a proper honeymoon soon, I just want to be home before you have the baby" she said, looking at her. There was so much going on right now in their lives but judging on the look of Emily's face she could tell there was something else.

She studied her for a second, watching her looking at the girls and Jamie "what's wrong?" She asked. Emily blinked "absolutely nothing, I'm a happily married woman" she said, before looking at the floor "I know you are but what's on your mind?" she asked, looking interested. Emily looked at her "He wants kids" she blurted out before even thinking. Ella held her hand "and do you?" she asked. Emily sighed "not right now" she whispered, not wanting him to hear. Ella smiled "listen I know it's scary but right now you should just focus on being happy, the right time will come" she said, giving her advice. Emily nodded "yeah that's exactly what I said to him, I'm just not going to think about it and just enjoy being his wife" she said, looking back up at Ella, who looked really happy for her.

Jamie approached Emily "ready to go?" he asked, running his hand through her fringe. She nodded "of course, we can't miss the plane" she joked, her hands placed on his chest. He kissed her quickly before walking outside.
