All of a sudden, Shay woke up and nearly hit the top bunk with his head. He noticed he was breathing very heavily.
He wanted to look outside the window, just to double check it was a dream. He did, and saw the forest they walked through to get to the Pokémon Center.

Look guys... I'm having a lot of fun writing this book, and I hope you guys are enjoying it too.
But it's also just been tiring. I'm gonna take a break, and I'll come back after Spring Break. (I know it seems like a long time, but I know you guys can wait.) I'm just going to finish this chapter.

Shay noticed that Kyle was waking up, so he started to get ready. He took a shower, and by the time he was done, Kyle just got up. At this moment, he noticed that Kyle wasn't really a morning person. Shay was kind of neutral when it comes to the morning.
"Ugh.... I hate morning." mumbled Kyle. Shay just ignored it. "Kyle, I'll be in cafeteria when you're ready." said Shay as he left their room.
As he walked down the hall to the cafeteria, he noticed he didn't feed Charmander! He walked faster towards the cafeteria, took out Charmander, and got him two cans if Poké-Food, along with an apology.
"I'm sorry Charmander, it's just that it was getting late and all, and we were just very tired." said Shay, "I got you extra food, since you didn't have dinner yesterday. But then again, neither did we. We just went straight to bed."
Charmander jumped onto Shay's lap, gave him a big hug, and said, "Char." in an apologetic tone. Shay hugged Charmander back.
"You know what? I should give you a nickname. What do you think?" said Shay.
"Char! Char!" Charmander said in and excited tone.
"Okay okay!" said Shay. He thought about it for a while and finally said...
