He noticed it shook once... and weirdly only once.
Suddenly, he knew what just happened. He had just recieved a critical capture! Along with his critical hit, the day came from good, to amazing! Good because he got to start his Pokémon adventure, but amazing because of his luckiness!
"Yes!" Shay said in excitement. Kyle gave him a pat on the back, and a congratulations.
"Nice job, but I think that that was pure luck. Critical hits and critical captures are luck based." said Kyle.
Shay smirked. "I think you're just jealous." said Shay, "Tell you what, next Pokémon that comes around, it's all yours, and I won't say a thing."
Kyle agreed, and they continued on their journey.
------3 Hours Later------
All of a sudden, Kyle's stomach startes to rumble.
"Sorry. I'm just hungry." said Kyle, "Do you think there's a Poké-Center around here?"
"No, I don't think so." Shay responded, "But I did find an online recipie for something called "Berry Disks."
"Cool! How do they taste?" said Kyle.
Shay pulled one out of his backpack and said, "Try it for yourself!"
