Froakie's True Feelings

Ch. 1: More than Friends

OK for starters, I am the Demonic Angel and this is my story. So, don't judge it or anything but this a froakie X fennekin fanfiction so here you go.

Oh btw I don't not own pokemon, kinda wished though.

"Man are we there yet," Ash said to Serena. It was after Ash had gotten his first gym badge, and they (being Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Clemont's little sister Bonnie) were on there way to Cyllage City for ash's next gym badge.

"We should get there tomorrow," Serena replied in annoyance to ash's complaining. Clemont then asked, "Can we camp here tonight?" Then said, "Cause I am starting to run out of breath."

"Sure," Serena said while she threw a death glare at ash if he complained.

They decided to set up camp near a lake because it was a hot day. After five minutes, they also decided to let out their Pokemon so they could enjoy the fresh air and the coolness of the water.

"Come on out, Everybody," Ash says as he threw three pokéballs and released Froakie, Fletchling, and Hawlucha. His partner, Pikachu, jumped off his shoulder.

Then, Serena threw only two pokeballs and released Fennekin and Pancham with sunglasses on out. Finally, Clemont threw three pokeballs and released Chespin, Bunnelby, and Luxio.

"Go have fun, Everyone," Ash said to the Pokemon gang.

(Pokemon's POV)

"Okay," Everyone said but sounded like noises to the trainers.

Pikachu, Chespin, and Pancham decided to go to the lake and swim for a few minutes. Dedenne was asleep in Bonnie's bag. Fletchling was watching Hawlucha do his fighting stances on top of a boulder. Finally, Luxio was looking for berries for Serena, who asked him because she was going to make poke-puffs for the Pokemon. But, where was Froakie and Fennekin.

Froakie decided to lay his head on a tree trunk and let his body rest from the vigorous training that he had to endure for the Cyllage gym. Fennekin, on the other hand, was sneaking up to Froakie in an attempt to scare him. She then shook Froakie's body and he jumped as a result.

"What was that for, Fenny?" Froakie asked and then blushed at the result of calling Fennekin the wrong name.

"Fenny?" Fennekin said as she too blushed at the nickname.

"If you don't lik.....," Froakie started to say but was quickly silenced by Fennekin's paw on his lips.

"No, I like it," Fenny said then blushed, "I think it's very cute."

"O-okay," Froakie stuttered and blushed because Fenny's paw was still on his lips. She realized this and took her paw off his lips so he could speak.
"Anyway," Froakie said while still blushing,"do you need something, Fenny."

"Well," She said, "I was wondering if you wanted to go on a walk with me."

"Wait," Froakie said as he looked at Fenny with pure disbelief, "a walk just you and me together."

"Yes," she confirmed, "just you and me."

Froakie couldn't believe his eyes or ears. Fennekin, his friend, his secret crush, was asking him to go on a walk.

"S-sure," Froakie managed to say without blushing but utterly failed. Fennekin noticed this and giggled at him.

"You know," Fenny started saying, "you look sooooo cute when your face is red."

Then, Froakie stood up and stretched as he started to walk with Fennekin around the lake. He then started a conversation with Fennekin about gym battles and showcases. When they got halfway around the lake, the water near Fennekin started to shift which causes her to stop in her tracks.

"You ok, Fenny?" Froakie asked as he noticed the fox Pokemon wasn't following him.

"Yeah," Fennekin said as she looked at him, "but I have a strange feeling that something doesn't want us near this lake."

"Do you want to go back to camp?" Froakie asked.

"Yeah," Fennekin said with sadness in her voice.

They began to walk back when; suddenly, a figure jumps out of the water, grabs Fennekin, and drags her towards the lake. Froakie hears Fennekin's screaming and turns around to see the scene.

"OH NO YOU WON'T," Froakie yells as he shoots a Bubble attack in an attempt to save his crush. However, the attack did little to stop the figure as he jumps back into the water with Fennekin. Froakie then gives chase to the figure as he dives into the lake. It only took him five minutes to locate Fennekin and the mysterious figure, he then uses Pound and Quick Attack in a combination and did extreme damage to the figure as he releases Fennekin. Froakie notices this and quickly aims his body towards her, uses Quick Attack at full power, and grabs Fennekin (bridal-style) as his body launches out of the lake and lands on his feet with a Pound attack waiting for the mysterious figure to try to come out.

Once he realizes the figure ain't coming out of the water, he then tends to Fennekin. He checks to see if she was still breathing, her heart was still beating but she wasn't breathing. So, he started giving Fennekin CPR. By now, the trainers and the Pokemon were already around them watching the scene unfold.

Then, Pikachu suggested....

"Froakie, give mouth-to-mouth to her."

"Okay," Froakie says to Pikachu. He moves beside Fennekin to give her the treatment but stops. He then realizes that he has to put his mouth on hers.

"OH MY GOD," Froakie blushs at the sudden thought of his mouth on hers. But quickly shook his head and puts his mouth on hers while trying not to blush every time his mouth made contact with Fennekin's mouth but failed. After two tries, Fennekin eyes shot open; however, none of the other pokemon noticed and saw that froakie was the one giving her mouth-to-mouth and blushed so red that if a Magikarp appeared it would be jealous. However, an idea came to her head as she mentally smirked.

"Oh this is going to be fun," she thought to herself as her plan fell into place.

Froakie tries one more time and as soon as his mouth touched hers she quickly took her arms and grabbed Froakie's face and held it. Both trainers and the Pokemon were happy that Fennekin was alive but shocked at what she was doing with Froakie.

She was KISSING Froakie.

Froakie just stood there shocked and blushing wildly as one thought came came to his mind.

"OH MY GOOOOOOD," Froakie thought and blushes so hard that I can't describe it, "FENNNEKIN IS KISSING ME!!"

After ten minutes of the lip session that Froakie received, Fennekin released the Bubble Frog pokemon and smiled ever so sweetly at Froakie who was lovestruck and stare blankly at her.

"Thanks for saving me," Fennekin said as she jerks Froakie closer to her, "love."

Froakie's face was even more red than it ever was. It felt like he had died and went to poke-heaven.

"Wait," Froakie thought to himself, "Did she just call me 'love' "

He re-entered reality as Fennekin got up and walked away from the group only to pause and turned her head to look at Froakie and gave him the sexiest smirk that he has ever seen and walked off.

Froakie just stood out of pure ecstasy as the last twenty minutes played through his mind. All the Pokemon and the trainers just looked at Froakie with big smiles as he passed out with hearts in his eyes and heart beating uncontrollably.

Ugh, well that took a good while to write. So, this my first chapter of my story. Please comment on this and I will keep on writing if there are good and/or bad comments.
