Izaya's POV

It's been at least a month now since I left the mansion and my father has actually been nice to me. I don't know what happened since the last time I saw him, but he actually changed.

After a few days of being here we made a deal; if Shizu-chan came for me in three months time, father will accept our relationship and I will not have to become the next head of the family.

I've tried talking to Mairu and Kururi about what changed fathers mind, but they teased me like usual so everything has gotten better. I walk around in the huge garden here and go to my old secret hideout and lie on the grass and look at the blue sky. I take a deep breath and sigh.

This would be even better if Shizu-chan was here.

After awhile I slowly drift into a calming sleep.

Shizuo's POV

I finally get to the Orihara house and sigh in relief at the front gate. But damn this place is huge!

Even though I'm at the front gate I still have to get in and walk possibly an extra ten miles till I get to the front door. Maybe when Izaya started working at the masters mansion he thought it was small.

Never mind that I have to see him. I get closer to the gate, but hear a ringing noise. Then I hear a voice and jump then look around to see where it's coming from.

After awhile of trying to see where the voice is coming from it asks, "Are you Shizuo Heiwajima?"

"Uh, yes." I answer.

Right after whoever is speaking to me starts talking to someone else.

"So what should we do? We don't know if he really is Heiwajima."

"Well he definitely fits the description we were given."

"True though he could be a guy from the Yodogiri family."

"Well that's a possibility, but wasn't the Yodogiri family wiped out?"

Oh yeah they were by the masters order and I think the attack was lead by Chikage. Though what are we going to do with him? We can't have him see any family member until it is confirmed that he's the real Heiwajima."

I calmly listen to their conversation until it just got too ridiculous. So I speak up and tell them, "I can still hear you. The microphone is still on."

After that I hear silence then a completely different voice saying, "Sorry about that my subordinates aren't the brightest, but if you really are Shizuo Heiwajima than you must be really strong... but that's not what I'm testing you on."

"Test? What is it?" I ask.

My patients are really hitting the borderline with these people.

"What is on Izaya's left wrist?"

After they ask that my body goes still. How do they know about Izaya's suicide attempt? I thought only his sisters and I know about it.

Well I should at least answer, "As I'm told by his sisters he has scares from a self-harm action."

There is silence then the person on the microphone says, "Correct and your reaction was perfect."

"What?" I say angrily.

They really are getting on my last nerves.

"Well anyway please back away from the gate while it opens."

I do as they say and what as the gates open then I see a car driving toward me. It stops at the entrance then someone gets out of the divers side and says, "Hello Mr. Heiwajima, I am here to take you the the Orihara household."

I walk over to the passenger side and open the door, but the driver stops me and says, "Guests sit in the back."

He opens the back doors so I go inside and see how nice and luxurious it is. When the driver closes the door I start looking at everything in here.

After five minutes I see a huge mansion still about five miles away. I never thought that Izaya would live in a place like this.

The car stops at the entrance of the house and the driver quickly comes out and opens my door for me. I say thanks to the driver and start up the stairs.

When I get to the doors I look at all the most beautiful decorations I've ever seen. When the doors open it's even more fascinating than the outside.

I glance at every decoration and then see Izaya's father staring at me from the top of the main stairs that part into three ways.

He stands in the middle and says, "Welcome Mr. Heiwajima we've been expecting you to come."

"Really? I don't know if I should feel honored or not." I say.

"Well you should," while speaking Izaya's sisters come running out and Mr. Orihara continues, "my two daughters Mairu and Kururi will guide you to where Izaya is."

The two come up to me and say in unison, "It's nice to see you again Shizuo."

They both start to pull me to the right and then I hear Mr. Orihara say, "Also ask Izaya if he would like it to be big or small."

I'm dragged out to I think the garden and think about what he said. But I'll tell Izaya maybe he can decipher whatever is father says.

I look around and see that this garden is way bigger than the masters. Mairu and Kururi guide me further and further into the garden then stop.

Mairu points in a direction further away from the mansion then says, "Iza-nii is somewhere in that direction. Just walk straight forward and you'll most likely find him."

I nod then start heading into the direction she pointed out. I keep walking until I trip over something and look down seeing that it's a person.

I panic a bit and notice that the persons clothing are definitely not ones that employees here wear. Oh god, I hope I didn't hurt this person.

The man starts to wake up, but when I see the familiar messy bed head I instantly hug him.

Izaya acts surprised for a few more seconds but I'm pretty sure he recognized me since he hugged back and yelled out, "Shizu-chan!"

After that I say, "I missed you so much Izaya. I would have come for you sooner if I knew exactly where you live."

"Well I'm glad you came. I love you, Shizu-chan."

"I love you too Izaya, just don't leave me again."

"I won't."

We stay in our embrace for a very long time and I'm glad I'm with Izaya with no problems.
