"Good morning, sunshine."

Tom's eyes fluttered open as Matt stood above him, still in his pajamas, smiling down at him. "Come on, Tom," he said in a singsong voice. "It's time for you to get up."

Tom smiled back. "Aw, do I have to?" he playfully whined as he pulled the covers over his face to block out the light shining through the curtains.

"Yes!" Matt said as he grabbed the warm covers and pulled them away from Tom, exposing him to the bright light and cooler air. Tom let out a small yelp and started shaking from the sudden cold, but then laughed as he quickly got out of bed and greeted Matt with a hug. Matt happily hugged him back, stroking his messy brown hair. Tom quietly giggled as Matt continued petting him.

Then Tom stopped smiling. There was something that had been on his mind ever since he confessed his love. "Hey, Matt?"

"Yeah?" Matt said as he stopped playing with Tom's hair.

"So....because you....love...me....and I....l-love...you....do you think...that you...and I...."

"...could start dating?" Matt asked, still smiling. Tom looked up at Matt and nodded. "I was just wondering if you could be my boyfriend....you know....if you want to be," Tom said shyly, blushing a bit.

Matt laughed and happily gave Tom a quick peck on the cheek. "Of course I want to be, ya big dope! Of course I'll date you!"

Tom grinned, now filled with confidence. "So....you wouldn't mind if I did....this?" Tom held his arm beside him and quickly stuck his foot out behind Matt, pushing Matt's feet forward. Matt stumbled a bit before falling backwards into Tom's arms. Matt was startled but began to giggle as Tom gazed deeply into his eyes. Tom brought his lips up to Matt's and gave him a soft kiss. Matt happily kissed back, wrapping his arms around Tom's neck and holding onto him tightly. Tom tilted his head and deepened the kiss, and it started to turn into a make-out session until they heard someone clear their throat behind them.

"Excuse me, but WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?"

Tom nearly dropped Matt as they both stopped kissing and looked over to Edd, who was standing in the doorway of Tom's room in shock.

"What the hell is this? Is it just me, or were my two best friends just making out?"

Tom and Matt exchanged a look of embarrassment. They both stood up and let go of each other, awkwardly murmuring to themselves as they brushed themselves off. But then Tom smiled and turned back to Edd. "Okay, you caught us," said Tom, jokingly holding his arms up. "Now you know our deep, dark secret."

"You're damn right I do!" said Edd, smiling back at the two, walking up to them and pulling them into a hug. "Was this what you guys were acting all weird about last night?"

"Yeah..." Tom lied. Both he and Matt were still hesitant to share that whole story.

Edd laughed and pulled them out of the hug. "Okay, come on, lovebirds, breakfast is ready."

They both nodded as Edd walked out the door.

"I love you so much, Tommy," Matt whispered before kissing Tom's cheek.

Tom smiled and kissed Matt's chin. "I love you too, Matt," he quietly replied before the two of them walked to the kitchen, holding hands, never willing to let go of each other again.
