Chapter 2:Friends

      "Hello everyone im Luke, hope we can all get along" i said. I looked around the class and i saw...her. The girp i bumped into, it was her. She was in the same class as me.

        "Ok, thank you Luke. Pls take a seat." The teacher who is named Sir Dean. Pointed to a chair just a seat away from her. "Ok, ummm, Emilia, may you give Luke a tour on the school?." Emilia...that was her name. "What a lovely name." i said to myself.
"U-um sure Mr. Dean. I'll be able to handle it." "Thank you Emilia, ok, lets continue."

            After class during lunch i met Emilia outside of the classroom. "Follow me." She said.

           Both me and her were walking around. None of us were talking. I guess we both were nervous. "Ummm. Haha. So, where are you taking me  first?" I asked  while trying to start a convorsation. "The cafeteria, we must eat first, then we will continue." "Y-yeah sure." After just one question she answered she didnt say another word.

             We both got our food and sat down together. "Hey Emilia, is that you?" Emilias friends arrived to talk to her. "You finally hanging out with a boy huh. Ahahaha." They were teasing her. "Aaaaah. Shut up." She ran to the Restroom blushing. "Hey, take care of her. Ahaha😂"

            After awhile she arrived back, still a little red. "A-are you ok?" I asked. "Y-y-y-eah. Hehehe. Lets just eat."

            After eating she continued to show me around before class starts again. I stopped and called her attention. "E..emilia?" She turned around. "Huh? What is it." I quickly apologized. "IM SORRY, SORRY FOR EVERYTHING! PLS FORGIVE ME!." "Oh. Y-yeah" she said nervously. "Im also sorry." "Huh? Why? For what?" "Im sorry for just running away back then. That was rude of me." "Huh? Yeah. Its ok" i said. She then smiled. "Let me formally introduce myself. Im Emilia Adams. Nice to meet you." She said smiling. "Hello. Im Luke Andrews." I told her back.

              "Soooo, Emilia, where are you from?" I asked. "Hmmm? Me? Oh im from America. How bout you(HBY)?" "Oh me? Well, im Filipino but i was born and raised in america. So i dont really know much about manila. Except trafic. I was expecting alot." I said. "So next we are going to the rooftop." "Ok cool." In the rooftop me and Emilia saw this AMAAAAZIN view. It was beautiful. "I like to go here alot. To think. To wonder. To relax." Emilia said. "Yeah its a pretty cool place. It makes sense you really love it here." Emilia took something out of her pocket. "Here, its ny phone number. I dont have alot of friends here. Only around 12. Hope you can be my friend." She said. "Yeah, of course i'd be happy to be your friend." And so Emilia was the first friend i made.

*RIIIIING*

           "Oh looks like its time. Lets go back. Our next subject is English." "Yeah, ok sure." During English we had a seatwork in where we should work by two. I was paired with a guy named Josh. "Yo, im Josh." "Umm yeah hello, im Luke." Me and Josh did the seatwork, and i got along with him well. And its because of one of my hobbies. ANIMEEE.

            Josh dropped a book. "Dont worry ill get it." And in the cover i saw a drawing of Luffy, from one piece. "WHOAH, hold on, you like one piece?" I asked. "Yeah dude, you like it too? Awesoem dude." And because of that we talked about anime like, Tokyo Ghoul, Nisekoi, Naruto and aloot more. Me and Josh became good friends. And he was my second friend in this school.

          "Hey, dude, i saw you with Emilia awhile ago. You like her?" Josh asked. "Whhha? Yeah kinda, why?" " i have an idea.

             "Hey Emilia?" Emilia replied "hmm? What is it?" I looked back and see Josh in the back showing me his thumbs up. "Uhhh. Can you pls show me around the city?"i asked nervous that it would become awkward. "Oh, yeah sure. I'd love to." She said with a smile in her face.

             We first went to a park. And we sat down and talked i got to know alot about her. "Hey, Luke." "Yes, what is it?" "Can you come with me tommorow after class." "Huh? Why?" I asked. "I need to buy a gift for my mom. And my other friends arent allowed." She said. "Sure id love to."

            After she showed me around the city we both went home. In my house i was happy. I made 2 new friends, and i have been able to become friends with Emilia. Then i took out my phone. I wanted to thank Emilia so i sent her a message.

"Hey Emilia its Luke
Thanks for showing me around
I had fun. And again. Thanks.

            In the dinner table with my family "So, Luke, how was your day?" Mom asked. "Its fine mom, i made new friends." Me and my family all talked about our day. After i went back up to my room. I studied.
I was excited for tommorow. I was able to accompany Emilia.

          The next day in the morning Emilia gave me a call. "Hello, Emilia, whats up?"
"Oh Luke, i wont be able to go to school today."
"Huh? Why not?"
"I have somewhere to go to, but i will meet you at the park."
"Yeah ok, see you there bye."
