"How do you feel?"

"Nothing," Normani said in a quick, nervous tone. "Just Dinah being Dinah, you know how she can be super protective of all of us. She said while starring down at her shoes. She hated lying, especially to Lauren. She really wanted to tell her the truth but She couldn't, she just couldn't. "Yeah I do, but not like this Mani, somethings for sure going on with her and I'm going to find out what."

After leaving the studio we all decided to go bowling to have a little fun and blow off some steam. Well, all except Dinah who came up with some lousy excuse about not feeling well and asked to be taken home. It was obvious she was still upset. Which I'm not even sure why because If anyone should be upset it should be me. I mean she acted like a complete drama queen and she knows it. "Mani your bowl!" Ally called out to me.

Aww crap another gutter ball. "You'll get it next time." Lauren says walking up behind me while rubbing my back. "Come here, lets talk for a minute" she says as we walk over to sit at a table. I had a feeling where this conversation was headed.

"I'm really worried about Dinah, I mean I know today she went totally cray cray, but it's also been kind of weird between us these last few months." What do you mean Lauren? I asked, as my palms were beginning to sweat. "I don't know Mani I just feel like she's hiding something from me."

I know Lauren and Dinah are really close so I can imagine how hard it must be for DJ to continuously hide this secret from her. I'm beginning to feel really guilty right now.

"I've tried talking to her a couple of times but she just kinda blows it off. I'm not sure what to do Mani we tell each other everything, I just hope she's ok and it's nothing serious." I could feel the pit of my stomach twisting and turning as the feeling of guilt continued to wash over me.

"What about you?" Lauren asked pulling me out of my thoughts. "Have you noticed anything different about her?"

This conversation was beginning to be too much for me and seeing the sincere concern in Lauren's green eyes only made me feel worse. Uh, well, I... "Your bowl again Mani!" Ally called out. I smiled internally at Ally saving me from this unwanted conversation. I'll be right back Lauren. I said before getting up to go bowl. I don't know if it was the angst or the anxiety or both but I somehow managed to get my first strike all night. "See I told you you'd get it!" Lauren yelled while applauding from the table. Thanks Lauren I said walking over to her. Let's get some ice cream to celebrate because I'm not sure when this will happen again, I joked.
