The Final Chapter

"Drew?"

"Dinah?"

" DJ who is this?"

"Drew what are you doing here?"

"I work here... just a sec."

Drew walked out the door and returned with a cart that he wheeled into the room.

"You ordered the bowl of mangoes right?"
"Yeah... but how did you..."

Dinah began to ask with confusion written across her face.

"Remember when I told you I was transferring to UCLA, well here I am. My roommate's dad
manages the hotel and offered me a job here.
Football doesn't pay the bills, at least not yet."

"Dinah?" Normani said interrupting the convo between the two.

"Sorry" Dinah said while rolling her eyes.

"Mani this is Drew, Drew this is Mani."
"Hi, nice to meet you." Drew said with a quick wave and a shy smile."
"Nice to meet you too. Soooo, how do you guys know each other."

"Weeelll... it's a long story."

"Yeah me and Dinah go waaay back. We even dated for a while."

"Really?"

"Yeah, it was just a lil puppy love haha. Well I gotta head back down it was good to see you again Dinah... and nice to meet you Mani."

"Same."

Mani drew her attention back to Dinah giving her a twisted look.

"Don't, okay. He's just a friend."

"Hey, I didn't accuse you of anything. One of us has to have some kind of trust in this relationship."

"Well at least I have receipts to back up my doubts."

"Whatever, I'm not going back and forth with you I don't have the time nor the energy. I wanted to talk to clear things up but I can clearly see your stuck in your own head right now."

Normani said while walking towards the door.

"Wow, what happened to us? It used to not be like this... the lack of trust... the make up to break up shit..."

"Dinah no one's lacking trust but you."

"And with good reason. You never acknowledge your faults Mani. You never put yourself in my shoes. It's not easy being with you, you know."

"Well here,  let me make things easier for you. We're done...for good this time."

Mani said before opening the door and slamming it behind her.

Dinah sat down on the bed and began eating her mangoes. For the first time she didn't have the urge to run behind Mani, she was mentally and emotionally exhausted with the whole relationship.

*6 months later*

This was the last show for the girls as fifth harmony. Everyone had been working on solo music and trying to figure out the next step in their career.

Mani and Dinah tried to make things work once again after their fight, but a couple of months later
they were back into it. Trust has always been their downfall.

Both girls agreed that it would be best if they were "just friends" even though deep down they knew their love for each other was unconditional.

"Ok girls last show let's make it count!" Ally screamed trying to lift everyone up.

The all gathered in a circle backstage and said a prayer before going on stage.

"I love you guys." Lauren said while looking out at the crowd from the curtains.

We love you too the girls said in unison before giving her a hug.

"Now let's shut this shitit down one last time." Normani said before her and the girls ran out on stage. A part of Dinah wanted to cry but the other part of her was excited she knew the end of Fifth Harmony meant new beginnings for all of the girls.

And deep down she secretly wished the same for her and Normani.

This is the last chapter for this story there will be a part 2! I love you guys & I'm sorry for slipping I'm graduating college soon 😆, but I had to finish this story!! Part 2!!! Part!!!!! 2 Part 2 !!!!!!!
