It's been a whole 2 weeks and Mani still hates me. I know she's been busy with the DWTS finale so I've tried to avoid being the cause of any distraction.

However, I'm not gonna lie... I'm losing my shit over here, I'm literally at the end of my rope with this. Mani is going to hear me and hear me clear this ignoring me shit has to stop now.

I knock on the door of her apartment eager to tell her what's on my mind.

She opens the door wearing a red shirt with red booty shorts. The thighs are on full display honey.

All of the confidence I'd previously built up prior to this moment fades instantly.

Wtf how does she still manage to do this to me.

"Hi" I speak in a nervous tone.

"Hi" she responds with that same cold expression she's managed to hold for the past 2 weeks.

"Do you mind if I come in I would like for us to talk."

She exhales a deep breath breaking eye contact and stepping aside to allow my entrance.

"Where's Ally?"

"She stayed at Will's last night."

" haha Those two love birds"

"I know you're busy so I'll try not to hold you up." I say closing the door, I turn around to face Mani accidentally bumping our foreheads together.

"Ouch"

"I'm so sorry"

"Are you ok Dinah?"

"Yes.. I mean no *sigh* you've been ignoring me for 2 weeks Manz. I know you hate me right now but I miss you...I miss us."

"I don't hate you Dinah, I'm just hurt and disappointed that's all." She said as she walked to the kitchen to fix her a drink. I followed behind.

"Did you do something different with your hair." She asked as she poured her drink.

"Yeah I added more curls."
"It looks good on you mufasa."
"Thanks." I say with a smile.

"You've been looking good by the way... I mean your body looks, looks good... I mean it it's always looked good you know... ughmm I'm just saying with all the extra dancing and clean
eating it's definitely you know paying off."

Shit Dinah get it together.

I was hoping maybe you'd wanna stop by my place later on you know after you finish dance rehearsal. I could cook or something, or we could just watch a movie... whatever you'd like."

"I would love to but me, Val, Simone, and a few other dancers are going out to eat after rehearsals tonight. I'm sorry."

"No no it's cool I understand." I replied trying to hide my disappointment. " I should probably go I don't want to hold you up anymore than I already have."

"Oh no you're fine I'm actually free for the next 3 hours surprisingly."

I could feel my stomach doing flips. 3 hours alone with Normani ok Dinah you better not fuck this up again.
