"You sure you can't see it " A worried Normani asked , holding her hand over the bruised mark on her neck that she attempted to hide with heavy foundation. " Yes Manz now come on everyone's waiting."
Normani was internally beating herself up for allowing Dinah to put it there in the first place, but she didn't regret it.
"My, my, my, Ally you sure are looking mighty fresh and bright eyed this morning. How'd you sleep last night?" Normani teased with a smirk while stepping into the van.
"Ughhm" A red faced Ally cleared her throat "I slept well thankyou." "I bet" Normani whispered, earning her a slap on the leg and side eye from Lauren.
After slaying their early 4 hour photoshoot the girls sat in a circle on the floor indian style and talked for a while before heading to rehearsals. "Ok guys I have a surprise" Normani said ceasing all conversation in the room.
"What is it?" Lauren asked. " You guys, Normani smiled before hesitating, "I'm going to be on dancing with stars!!!" "Agghh Mani I'm so proud of you!" Ally screamed. "Oh shoot Manz you bout to kill it they aint ready!" An excited Dinah cheered. "Yayyy Mani I'm so excited for you I know this is your dream !!" Lauren said while jumping over and giving Normani a hug.
"Thanks guys I still can't believe it!" "Whose your partner?" "Val!" Normani screamed.
"OMG he's the one you wanted, Aghh!" Ally yelled while jumping up and down. "I know I'm super excited!"

"Whew! I needed that" Normani said wrapping her towel tightly around her before sitting down on the edge of the bed, water droplets still present on her skin.
Dinah pulled her earphones out and sat up. She scooted behind Normani and began placing soft kisses on the back of her neck.
"Mmm you smell good." She whispered, making The chocolate girl giggle.
Normani lifted her arm up and stretched it. "Ow" She grunted. " What's wrong?" "My shoulder is just a little sore from rehearsals" "Wait here." Dinah said before quickly hopping up and walking out of the room.
A few moments later she returned with a dark pink bottle.
"Kama Sutra Oil?" Normani giggled after reading the label. "What? It always helps me"
"Haha, you're such a freak." "So what, I haven't heard you complain yet." She replied with a smirk. "Touché."
Dinah poured a generous amount in her hand as she kneeled behind Normani. She slowly massaged the areas around her shoulders and neck.
"Babe do you think you can handle all of this, I mean touring is hard enough, but competing on a dance show at the same time. It's a lot."
"I know, but I can handle it DJ. "
"I believe you can I just don't want you overworking and stressing yourself out."
"I won't, I promise."
"Ok... but the flying back and forth it..."
"DJ!" Normani interrupted.
"I'm sorry Manz, I just want to make sure you're okay."
