Amara woke up the next morning, groaning slightly. As she sat up, she placed a hand on her head, feeling oddly light-headed. There was a quiet chuckle, before she was once again push onto her back. She glanced up, her orange eye meeting her sensei's gray one.
"Rest for a little bit Amara. You overworked yourself, as per usual. You fainted from exhaustion." Amara snorted, ignoring his warning look as she pushed off of the futon, stumbling for a moment, but she quickly caught herself.
"How long have I been out?"
"Only a few hours, though I was expecting it to be a day. Then again, junchuriki seem to recover rather quickly, take Naruto for example..." Amara flashed him a grin, playfully punching his shoulder.
"And don't you forget it!! I'm assuming I missed dinner?" Kakashi nodded, walking over to the nightstand next to his futon, grabbing a bowl of some type of stew.
"Tsunami told me to give this to you if you woke up early. " She took it from him gratefully, quickly plopping a spoonful into her mouth, giving him a small smirk.
"It's a shame I passed out before you could show me whatever it was you planned on teaching me..." Kakashi nodded, tapping his chin in thought.
"Well, from what I can tell your chakra is almost completely replenished. After you eat you should be ready to head back out there again, though Tsunami has officially given me a curfew..." He pouted, and Amara hummed slightly, taking another bite of the delicious stew.
"So, let me guess. You're going to show me whatever it is I need to work on, then send me out there to practice?"
"Yep. I gotta say Amara, you're a lot more skilled than you let on. Not only have you created you're own original jutsus, you also have created a release. I'm impressed."
Amara smirked slightly, shrugging her shoulders. "What can I say, I'm awesome like that."
Kakashi sweatdropped slightly, shaking his head. "Okay. Anyways, I want to teach you something that I believe can help you later on down the line. It might take you a while to get it, but I want you to learn a few Wind Release techniques. You have a natural affinity for it, so I think you should only take advantage of that."
He handed her a scroll, which she opened and quickly scanned, nodding slightly. "Got it. Anything else you want me to do while I'm out there?"
Kakashi was silent for a few moments, before answering, hesitant. "I want you to practice your water and ice manipulation." Amara tensed, before sighing, running a hand through her hair.
"I was hopping you didn't notice..." Kakashi chuckled.
"I didn't at first. That senbon needle your threw at me earlier was made of ice, wasn't it? But when you turned your ice shield into water I knew something was up. I did a bit of searching and remembered Lord Third mentioning something about your elemental manipulation."
Amara sighed, glancing at the door warily, as if she was worried about someone overhearing. Kakashi placed a hand on her shoulder, giving her a closed eye smile.
"Your secrets safe with me Amara. But you'll have to tell them about your situation as Tenshi's jinchuriki sooner or later." Amara sighed, nodding.
"I know... But I just can't. Not yet. I sill haven't told Naruto, and he's my closest friend!! I don't know why, but every time I try to tell him I get all anxious, and I just can't!! They'll hate me when they find out!!"
Kakashi sighed, leaning down to look Amara in the eye. "No, they wont. Not if they care about you, they'll accept it. Sure, they might be a little wary at first, but they'll grow to get used to it. I mean, I did!"
