DON'T FLIP OUT!! I changed a my profile name, and my picture, but that's just because I switched it to a name I use alot online, to make it easier for myself. I AM STILL ME.
Amara woke up to something warm and wet pushing against her cheek. She scrunched up her eyes, only to groan as the wet thing attacked her again, weakly trying to push whatever it was away, only for it to dance out of her reach.
She heard an excited yelp, and sighed, slowly opening her eyes to glare at the white cub that was staring at her with an innocent expression, though she could see his excitement in his black orbs.
She slowly sat up, letting a small groan of discomfort as she felt bandages tighten around her torso. Shimo whined, crawling up to her and snuggling into her side. She sighed, slowly standing up from the futon she had been laid in, hissing slightly when she felt her torso and back groan in protest.
'You're back collided with the tree Zabuza's clone threw you into a lot harsher than we originally thought. You actually fractured a few ribs on impact, you're lucky it didn't damage your spine, though your back is bruised rather badly. I used up a lot of chakra so you wouldn't feel the pain, I can't heal you as fast as normal.'
Amara nodded, sighing. Shimo nuzzled into her leg, and she crouched down slightly, picking up the white fox cub and cuddling him to her chest. She opened her door, glancing around, tilting her head slightly.
"Where-" She paused, cutting herself off as she heard some slight commotion down stairs. She walked down the steps, wincing slightly, peering out from the corner. She saw a woman she was unfamiliar with, serving breakfast to her teammates and Tazuna. Shimo let out a happy yap, causing their heads to turn in her direction.
Naruto grinned excitedly, momentarily abandoning his food as he darted up to his best friend, engulfing her in a large hug, which she tensed at. She slowly relaxed, giving him a half-assed hug in return, which he seemed fine with.
"Amara-chan!!" He said happily, his big baby blue orbs shining with relief and excitement. Amara gave him a cheeky grin, yanking him down and gabbing him in a headlock, while Shimo quickly jumped out of her arms to avoid being caught in the lock as well.
Naruto let out a shout, struggling to escape the shorter girl's grip, which he ultimately failed at. Their teammates watched on with amused expressions, (yes even the Uchiha) while Tazuna let out a loud laugh.
Eventually, Kakashi decided that Naruto had enough of Amara's torture, as his blond hair was disheveled, his leaf headband askew.
"That's enough Amara." Amara pouted, releasing the blonde, albeit reluctantly.
"You always ruin my fun..." She muttered, and Kakashi marely smirked at her from behind his mask.
"I'm glad you're awake Amara, why don't you sit down at the table, and we can fill you in on what you missed."
Amara sat down, the only available seat being between Sasuke and Naruto, something that she was very adamant about.
"Kakashi, trade me."
"No."
"Why?" Kakashi chuckled, giving her a pointed look. She huffed, before turning to Saukra, her expression utterly blank.
"Sakura?" Sakura glanced at her warily.
"Yes?"
"Wanna sit next to Sasuke?" Sakura's green eyes glimmered, and she quickly darted to her feet, practically pulling Amara out of the chair. Amara allowed it, seeing as it freed her from the dangerous spot between the two rivals.
