SETTING: Back at the funeral.

AT RISE: CASSIA and HAZEL stand where they were before, beside the casket.

CASSIA: I think I knew she was depressed, I just never bothered to ask, I wasn't a good enough friend...

HAZEL: And the note she left the world... to us.

(CASSIA unfolds a piece of paper as WILLOW steps out from the edge of the stage.)

CASSIA and WILLOW: Dear World,

I've made up my mind. I know the cost of what I'm about to do and I'm sorry. I really am.

Please don't be sad for me, Cassia, Hazel. You didn't do anything wrong. I'm sorry for leaving you, I never thought I'd have to see the two people that could make me want to stay. But I don't regret my decision. And neither should you.

(WILLOW steps backstage, and CASSIA stares down at the paper.)

HAZEL: I miss her. I miss her so terribly and I can't help but regret and think...

CASSIA: What we could've done, what we should've done...

HAZEL: (shouting to no one in particular) WILLOW, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU? WHY DID YOU NEVER TELL US?

CASSIA: This isn't the Willow we knew...

HAZEL: You're right, and I think we need to know the truth.
