SETTING: A small café.

AT RISE: CASSIA and WILLOW are sitting at a table together.

CASSIA: It's too bad Hazel couldn't come. We were gonna go to the mall.

(A text alert can be heard.)

WILLOW: Oh, that was my phone. Just a reminder that I need to go... meet my mom.

CASSIA: Really? I thought you said you had no appointments for today.

WILLOW: Something came up. Can you take my leftovers to-go and bring it to lunch tomorrow? I'm in a rush. Thanks.

(WILLOW hurries off.)

CASSIA: Sure...

(After a moment passes, CASSIA stands and starts to follow WILLOW.)

CASSIA: What's up with her?

SETTING: A white building with a white door.

CASSIA: Where did she go?

(CASSIA enters the building and after wandering around for a bit, she comes to a door where muffled voices can be heard. After a while, WILLOW storms out of the room, but upon seeing CASSIA, she puts a smile on.)

WILLOW: Hey, Cassia, what are you doing here?

CASSIA: Um, Willow, is there something wrong? I heard you talking in that room.

WILLOW: Oh, you must be mistaken, that wasn't me. I'm completely fine. Well, whatever, I have to go now.

CASSIA: What, are you going to lie to me about going somewhere again? What's really going on?

WILLOW: I would never lie to you!

CASSIA: I'm your friend, Willow, if something's happening you can tell me!

WILLOW: What do you mean? I'm telling you the truth. (pause) I'm sorry. I have to go.
