Hermione Granger x Reader

Astronomy Tower

                    H/C= hair color

Hermione had a massive crush on Y/N, the student who Hermione sat next to in Potions. She had known Y/N to be a very close friend to Luna. Too close for Hermione's liking. Everywhere Hermione went, she always saw Y/N and Luna together, and she couldn't help but wish that was her. But today, Hermione was determined to admit her feelings, but she was having trouble trying to talk to you alone. She had an idea, but she would need some help.

 "Luna?" Hermione questioned, finally able to separate the blonde from you. "I wanted to ask you for a favor."

 "Hello Hermione, are you finally going to confess your feelings to Y/N?" Luna asked.

 "I- excuse me?"

 "Well, it's quite obvious you have had feelings toward my friend for a long time. So, what do you need me to do for you?"

 "Just tell Y/N to meet me at the Astronomy Tower."

 "Okay, but just so you know, you have nothing to worry about."

 With that, Luna disappeared to find Y/N while Hermione made her way toward the Astronomy Tower. Once she reached the tower, Hermione realized she had no idea on how she was going to confess her feelings. Panicking, Hermione paced around the room practicing how she was going to tell you. Hermione approached the edge of the tower and admired the view of the landscape. She took deep breaths and continued to practice her lines.

 "Hello Y/N, amazing view isn't it? But I think you look even better. Uh, no sounds too cheesy." Hermione said, thinking aloud. "Y/N, we've known each other for quite some time and I have grown very fond of you. Nope, sounds too classy. Y/N, you and me. The Three Broomsticks. Tonight. Argh, too straight forward. Bloody hell, why is this so hard?"

 She sighed and stared off into the sky, noticing the orange light which illuminated from the sunset.

 "Y/N, I've had feelings for you. For longer than I can remember, and I just had to get them off my chest. Even if you don't feel the same way I have to tell you this. Your E/C eyes make my heart flutter, and your H/C hair is absolutely amazing. Your smile brightens my day while the sound of your laugh is adorable. Everything about you is perfect in my eyes and I wanted to let you know that I-I'm in love with you."

 Hermione continued to gaze at the sky, but she hadn't noticed that you were currently a few feet behind her. Or that you had heard everything. Luna had told you to make your way to the Astronomy Tower as fast as you could. While heading up, you heard a voice talking. It was then you saw Hermione walking toward the edge of the tower, lost in thought. You didn't say anything since you were overwhelmed with emotions, mostly happiness. Hermione returned your feelings and you couldn't have been happier. Once you regained control over yourself, you coughed to make your presence known. Hermione whirled around and stared at you shocked.

 "Y/N, h-how long have you been standing there?" She asked, with fear in her voice and panic in her eyes.

 "Long enough. I heard everything." You said, smiling. "Before you say anything, I love you too."

 "Y/N, I'm so sor- wait what? You love me?"

 To answer her question, you brought your lips to hers. Hermione was shocked at first but melted into the kiss. As you two pulled away, Hermione's entire faced became cherry red, but she was happier than ever. 

 "So Hermione, what was that you had said about The Three Broomsticks?"
