"Everyone keeps telling me you're the bad guy."

A smirk spread across Y/N's face. "You shouldn't believe everything you hear, sweetheart."

Hermione scoffed. "It's not my fault Slytherins have a bad reputation, sweetheart." She turned on her heel and headed toward the library.

"Hermione," Y/N called out, making Hermione pause. "If you were to give me a chance, I could show you that not every Slytherin is as bad as they seem. That I'm not as bad as I seem. I only need a chance."

"Fine. Prove it then. Prove that you can be as kind hearted as a Hufflepuff, Y/N."

(HUFFLEPUFF PRIDE. *cough* sorry I just have a lot of pride in my house.)

"Guys! You won't believe what just happened to me!" Neville exclaimed, a bit out of breath.

"Let me guess," Ron said. "You've got a new plant."

"What? No! Y/N was acting nice and helping out students. Can you believe it?!"

Harry and Ron shared a surprised glance while Hermione's face was unreadable. The three boys then began to discuss how the end of the world was coming, and that soon Snape and Malfoy would be handing out lollipops. Hermione didn't say a word due to her being lost in thought. Wow, Hermione thought. Y/N really is changing. Maybe I was wrong.

Hermione snapped back into reality. "I'm going to head toward the library. I have - uh - homework! Yeah, I have homework to do."

"Oh, well be careful. That's where I ran into Y/N," Neville said.

Hermione let out a small smile as she made her way in the direction of the library. Good, she thought.

Hermione searched the entire area near the library having no luck finding Y/N. Where could this prick be?  She sighed tiredly, running her hands through her bushy hair.

"Looking for someone, sweetheart?" A voice said from behind Hermione.

"Not anymore. I came to talk to you. Well, more like apologize. It was wrong of me to judge you based off of your house and what other people have said. I was wrong and I'm sorry."

Y/N chuckled. "Never in my life did I imagine Hermione Granger admitting that she was wrong."

"Don't rub it in or I'll regret it." Hermione huffed. "I want to make it up to you."

"Well," Y/N smirked. "I have something in mind."

"Like?"

"A date."

Hermione's face held an annoyed look. "Of course you would say that. Well, I suppose a date wouldn't kill me."

"No take backs."
