Dean was still heartbroken over what Seth had done to him. He didn't have the guts enough to ask Dean the most important question of their relationship? He couldn't say four little words to the man he supposedly loved?Dean was disgusted with not only himself, but with Seth. He had trusted himself to give Seth one more chance and had put his trust in Seth not to break his heart again. But he was let down both times. He let false hope cloud his judgment and now, here he was, in a horrible situation that involved tubs of ice cream, a blanket, and sappy romantic movies.
He wished this had turned out differently; that Seth had stuck around to pop the question. But, of course, his hopes meant nothing when it came to reality. Hopes were nonexistent in a world like this; you could hope all you want, it doesn't mean you're going to get what you want.
Dean had tried calling Roman a couple times, but couldn't get through. Roman was probably angry over what happened between them and honestly, Dean couldn't blame him. He shouldn't be skipping around with man after man - he should be sticking with one unconditionally.
And after what Seth had done to him in the first place, he should have chosen Roman and stuck with him. Sure, he was a bit possessive and at times, kind of controlling, but he meant all of the best when did that.
Dean knew that, despite the stares he got in public and the lectures he got from friends. They didn't know Roman like he did; he was a sweetheart with anger issues.
His anger issues got out of hand once or twice, but in Dean's mind, it wasn't that bad. In reality, Roman was out of control. But Dean had his rose-colored glasses on and was blinded his false love for Roman.
Whether Dean wanted to admit it or not, he knew his love wasn't real with Roman. It was a fling so he wouldn't feel lonely - to keep him company. He missed the caring, the affection, and the love of a relationship. So he got with Roman to fill the void that had approached.
While Dean was feeling bad for himself at home, Seth was just waking up from the chloroform Roman has smothered him with.
He peeked around the room, dazed and confused as the bright lights blinded him. He tried to give them a chance to adjust, but what little he could see, he didn't recognize. Where he was, he was unsure, but his heart was racing a mile per minute due to his anxiety springing to life.
Seth went to speak when nothing but a squeak came out. He cleared his throat, squeezing his eyes shut in hopes that this was nothing but a bad dream. When he opened them once more, he was met with a disturbing realization that this was in fact his actual view.
He whimpered as he struggled against the restraints, looking up to see his arms attached to cuffs that were connected to the wall. A chill ran down his spine due to the cold bricks behind him and he knew that this place was meant to be for torture.
He tried to remember what had happened last, but everything seemed to be in a haze that he couldn't reach. He screamed out of frustration as he kicked his feet the best of his abilities because of the straps strangling his ankles. He leaned his head back, accidentally hitting it off of the sturdy wall behind him, groaning in pain as he felt a line of blood rush down his neck.
