Chapter 4 ~ I Think About You More Than You Realize 

Seth couldn't stop thinking about Dean. He wished things would have gone differently. Maybe, just maybe he could have taken Dean under his wing and made him a part of The Authority with him. Of course, Stephanie and Triple H would have loathed the idea with a fiery passion. But, since Seth was their golden boy, he was sure they would've made an exception. 

Dean was never the type of guy to take the easy way out, though, and Seth knew that. In order to get Dean to join him, it would take a lot of convincing and even then, Seth wasn't sure if Dean would go through with it. Dean liked to work his way up the ladder and prove that he was the best with hard work and determination. Seth wished he could be like that, but The Authority dragged him into their mess without his consent. He tried talking them out of it, but they wouldn't budge whatsoever. 

To see the love of his life so heartbroken hurt Seth in more ways than one. What Dean didn't realize was that Seth felt the same exact way. Why did he have to do it? Why did he have to split up their relationship? 

Seth knew that if he went with The Authority, his and Dean's relationship was over. They made an agreement when they first got together, stating that if either one turned on the other, they would end it so that no one got hurt. 

However, it didn't turn out the way they expected. Neither wanted to be in the excruciating pain they were in now. All they wanted was to be in one another's arms once more, but both of them were too afraid to confront the other about what had happened.   

Seth laid on the bed in his hotel room, staring up at the ceiling, feeling completely lost. He didn't know what was right and what was wrong anymore. He didn't feel like the same person anymore, especially now that Dean was no longer by his side. 

It was killing him on the inside that Dean wasn't there with him. That the two of them weren't together. 

They were perfect for each other. They were partners in crime and could do just about anything, as long as they did it with one another. 

"Why aren't you mine, Dean? Why?" Seth whispered to himself, tearing up. "I was doing it for you." 

Seth only joined The Authority because they offered him more money. They cut everyone's paycheck down due to them losing so much money, it making things hard on Seth and Dean. Once Seth turned heel and united with The Authority, he was making more than enough money for the both of them. 

However, Dean never gave Seth the chance to explain before getting extremely pissed off and throwing things around their apartment, screaming at Seth, telling him he was an idiot for what he did. Seth was too afraid to go back, which is why he almost always stays in a hotel room instead.

All Seth wanted was to be back in Dean's arms, where he knew he would always be safe. Dean was protective of Seth when they were together, which was something Seth absolutely adored about him. He kept Seth out of trouble at all times and Seth did the same for him. 

If they were as destined to be together like everyone told them, how come both were heartbroken and staying away from each other at all costs? Their fairy tale love was nothing but a joke; something that would bring them temporary happiness. 

Seth wanted his life back. He wanted that feeling of joy and security he felt when he was with Dean. He couldn't feel the same things with anyone else and he knew that just proved that the two of them were made for each other. He wondered if Dean felt the same way about him. 

The thought of Dean moving on and being with anyone else but him made him sick to his stomach. He was in love with Dean, so he couldn't even imagine seeing Dean with another man.
