Chapter 34 ~ Saving Him

Dean's jaw practically hit the floor. "Repeat what you just said so I know I'm not hearing things."

"Oh, trust me, you're not," Heath commented, entertained with arms crossed.

Roman sent him a glare as he took a deep breath. "I kidnapped Seth."

"You what?!" Dean exclaimed and stumbled over to the taller man. "How the fuck could you do that?"

Roman shrugged nonchalantly. "I put a rag over his mouth that had chloroform and dragged him away."

"I don't think he meant literally," Heath interjected, smirking at Roman's expression.

"You're a dick! How the fuck did I ever fall for you?" Dean spat, taking off the ring Roman had given him, throwing it at him. "You messed my life up! Why? Because you had a crush? Get over yourself, this isn't high school anymore, this is real life."

"Because you loved me, that's why," Roman responded, picking up the ring. "Don't give up on us."

"I am!" Dean spat and shoved him away. "You messed everything up. I can't stand you."

"I did this all for you!" Roman pleaded, grabbing Dean's arm. "This was all for you."

"No, no it wasn't," Dean disagreed, yanking himself away. "You did this for yourself. You're a selfish bastard."

"But I'm not!"

"You are. You ruined my relationship for yourself."

Roman sighed. He knew he was defeated. Dean knew almost everything and he would no longer be able to lie his way through this. He was exposed for the jackass he truly was.

"Yes, but only because I knew I could get you the love you've always wanted and deserved," Roman said, looking down. "I wanted you to be happy."

"I was happier with Seth," Dean snapped. "You knew that."

Roman shrugged. "Sure."

"Where is he?" Dean demanded, pregnant body getting in Roman's face. "Tell me, now."

"Where is who?" Roman played dumb, smirking slightly.

Dean slapped him, growling lowly. "You know who the fuck I'm talking about, now tell me before I kick your ass!"

"Oh, Dean, Dean," Heath interrupted, pulling Dean back. "You're 9 months pregnant, you need to calm down. You can't be getting all riled up like this, it could hurt the baby."

Heath did breathing exercises with Dean to help him relax. He didn't want him to go into labor right then. He didn't know how to deliver a baby!

Dean nodded. "You're right, you're right."

He started to calm down a little, rubbing his belly since the baby began to kick.

"Show him where Seth is, Roman," Heath told him, glaring. "Now."

Roman rolled his eyes. "Alright, fine. Follow me."

"Heath, can I hold onto your arm for support?" Dean questioned, becoming shy as he peeked up at the taller man. "I'm a little shaky."

"Yeah, of course," Heath replied, biting his lip. "Can I tell you something before we go down there?"

Roman turned to face them. "Are you going to actually tell him?"

Heath nodded. "Yes. Unlike you, I don't have to be forced to admit what I've done wrong."

"Heath, what's going on?" Dean wondered. "What'd you do?"
