"Come on Onika. Its time for school.", Carol said walking in.
"I don't want to go. I'm just going to get bullied anyway."
"It might be different this year."
"I doubt it.", I mumbled.
"Get up and get dressed. Am I taking you to school or are you walking?"
"I'll walk."
She kissed my cheek and walked out the room. I walked in my bathroom and sighed.
"Another year for bullying again.", I said to myself.
Hi, I'm Onika but everybody calls me Nicki. Most people call me nerdy, slutty, fat, and unattractive. I was born in Trinidad but moved to New York then came to Virginia because my moms' job. I've lived in Virginia since freshman year and that's when it all started. My biggest bully was Meek. He was the most popular kid at school and when he called me names, his friends just laughed and joined in.
I started getting ready for the day and got all my stuff together. I grabbed my key and walked out my room. I saw my blue Pitbull laying at the bottom of the steps and I scratched between his ears.
"Hey buddy. I'll see you after I get home."

I walked in school and everybody stared at me.
"There she go. I thought she was going to stay home.", a familiar voice said.
I turned around slowly and it was him. Meek.

"You know the rules. Stay out of my way.", Meek said and I nodded.
He laughed and they walked off. I sighed and went to the locker.
"Look who at who was brave enough to show up. Its the nerd.", a girl said.
