"You're not supposed to be on your leg Meek.", Nicki said.

She helped me to her bed and she elevated my leg.

"You would be a cute nurse.", I said and she smiled.

"You think so?"

"I know so."

I pecked her lips and she blushed.

"When do you go to therapy?"

"Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This leg about to be stopping shit and I don't like that."

"You'll be out of the cast in no time."

"Come lay down with me Nic."

"I don't want to hurt your leg Rihmeek."

"You good ma."

She laid on the side where my uninjured leg was and I wrapped my arm around her.

"I'm sleepy.", she mumbled.

"Go to sleep baby."

"But I have to make sure you're okay."

"I'll be fine babygirl. I promise.", I said and she nodded.

"I love you Meek."

"I love you too.", I said looking at her.

She smiled and closed her eyes and I rubbed her back.

"Onik-. Hello Meek.", Carol said.

"How are you?", I asked.

"I'm fine. How's your leg?"

"It's alright. I took some pain meds a couple minutes ago."

"Make sure to keep it elevated. If you need anything, the remote right there will alert me."

"Thanks Ms. Carol."

"No problem. Later on, we need to talk. Nothing bad."

I nodded and she walked out the room. I looked down at Nicki and she was light snoring. I smiled and kissed her forehead and fell asleep shortly after.

"Are you okay Meek?", Nicki asked.

I was trying to get up off the bed but my body wasn't having it.

"Mom! I need some help with Meek!"

Her mom walked in the room and she pushed my back a little then Nicki grabbed my arms. Eventually, I was on my feet and Ms. Carol gave me my crutches.

"Work on your body strength while you have your cast on. You don't want to make this a daily habit.", Carol said and I nodded.

I walked out out the room and they helped me down the stairs. I plopped down on the couch but instantly regretted it.

"Fuck man."

I looked up seeing Ms. Carol staring at me and I sighed.

"My bad."

She nodded and walked out the living room. Nicki handed me my phone and sat down beside me. I checked my messages and saw that Tak and Omelly were planning on going to my house.

I'll be there soon. I'm at Nics house

I locked my phone and Ms. Carol elevated my leg.

"Keep it elevated Meek."

I nodded and Nicki laid next to me.

"You wanna come to my house later?", I asked and she nodded.

"We have the rest of the week off so why not."

"You spendin the night?"

"Let me ask my mom."

Nicki "Onika" Maraj

"Mom!", I yelled.

"In my room!"

I walked up the stairs and walked into her room and saw her getting ready for work.

"Can I go over Meek's house and spend the night?"

"Is Na going to be there?", she asked and I nodded.

"Then yes, you can go. Tell Na I said hello and she needs to come see me soon."

"I will. Thank you mom. I love you."

"I love you more Nika."

I walked out her room and went to mine and started packing. Once I was done, I went back downstairs and saw Meek trying to get up again. I put my bag down and helped him up again.

"I feel weak right now.", he said.

"Everybody needs help Meek and just cause I'm a girl doesn't mean you should feel weak."

He smiled and he wrapped his arm around my neck as he was standing on 1 foot while I was getting his crutches.

"Thank you for helping me Nic. I really do appreciate it."

"No problem."

I gave him his crutches and he went to the door.

"We're gone mom!"

"Alright. Be safe!"

I grabbed our bags and we walked out the house. I helped in the car and his crutches and our bags in the back seat.

"You alright?", I asked and he nodded.

I backed out of the driveway and drove to his house. Once we pulled up to his house, I saw another car pull up and it was Tak & Omelly. I went on the other side to help Meek out the car but his boys stopped me.

"We got him Nic.", Omelly said and I nodded.

"I'm not liking this shit at all man.", Meek said.

"Oh hush. No one told you to run the ball.", Tak said.

We all laughed and Meek kept a straight face. I got his crutches and bags out the car and walked in the house. They put Meek on the couch and I put his crutches next to him.

"Onikaaa.", I heard Na say.

"Na!"

She hugged me tightly and smiled.

"It's nice to see you again. I hope my stubborn brother is treating you right."

"I can hear you!", Meek yelled.

"He's gotten better. Showing me a side I've never seen before."

"That's good. Well, I have to get to work. We can talk when I get back.", she said and I nodded.

I went in the kitchen and got me a snack then I heard someone walking in the kitchen. I turned around and saw Meek leaning up against the counter.

"I can't go to sleep without you being my side."

I smiled and helped him upstairs to his room. He laid down and I put a couple of pillows under his leg and laid down next to him. He buried his face into my neck and I kept on scrolling on my timeline.

"Take a nap with me.", he mumbled.

"I already took a nap with you."

"Take another one."

"Fine."

Shortly, he fell asleep and so did I.
