I walked into the school and nobody looked at me. Well that's a first. I went to my locker and Thembi & Candi came up behind me.

"You going to catch us up on what happened between you and Meek orrr?", Thembi asked and I laughed.

"He just came over and we talked. That's it."

"Well he sure is talking about you a lot this morning.", Candi said.

I saw Meek walking towards me and he leaned up against the lockers.

"Hey beautiful."

"Hey Meek."

"You still coming with me to homecoming tonight?"

"I don't know. I have to find something to wear.'"

"We'll find you something. She's going Meek.", Thembi said and he nodded.

"See you later beautiful."

I blushed and he walked away, laughing.

"I wasn't planning on going Thembs.", I whined.

"You need to get out more. Make friends."

"I'm good with you and Candi. I'm good."

"Hm. Come on boo."

I shook my head and walked in the classroom. I saw Meek sitting in the back with his boys then he looked at me.

"Come back here shorty. Your friend too.", Meek said.

We walked to the back of the classroom and he pulled me down on his lap.

"Aye Candi. Let me get your number.", Chino said and I giggled.

"Boy bye. I'm about to go sit in the front with Thembi. You good back here boo?"

I nodded and she nodded. She walked back to the front and I leaned back on Meek.

"I'm glad you're getting more comfortable with me.", he whispered.

"You promised you weren't going to do anymore bullying."

"And I'm sticking to that babygirl.", he said and I nodded.

We ended up having a sub and she pretty much let us do what we wanted. Meek & I got to know more about each other and I started seeing another side to him.

"Alright. You guys are dismissed.", the teacher said.

I got up off Meek and walked out the room and Meek grabbed my hand. I looked at our hands then up at him.

"I told you I didn't care what they say."

I smiled and he smiled back. I leaned on his arm as we walked to our next class.

"I like this side of you."

"You'll see more of it. I promise."

He started talking to his boys and I just stared at his face while he talked.

"Alright. Time for class. Everybody get in your seats."

I was sitting on Meek's lap while eating my lunch and he was laughing with his friends.

"You good?", he asked and I nodded.

"Aight."

I finished eating my phone and took out my phone, checking my messages. I saw one from my mom and replied.
