Robert "Meek" Williams

"Can we talk?"

"Can you leave me alone Meek?"

I walked in her house and leaned up against the wall.

"No one said you could come in.", Nicki said.

"Let me talk to you."

"Nope. We talked last week when you said we had to be lowkey so."

I sighed and ran my hand over my face.

"I'm sorry for that Onika."

She looked at me and laughed, shaking her head.

"If got a dollar for everytime I heard that, I would be rich. You're not telling me anything new."

"You fuckin with Trey?"

"And if I am? Why is that your business?"

"So you going to my homeboys now?"

"We could've been a thing but you care what other people think so."

"You stubborn as fuck man."

"I'm not stubborn. I know my worth Meek. You don't. Now, you can get out or I can call the police."

"I'm not leaving here. We can stand here all day or you can hear me out.", I said crossing my arms.

"Looks like we're doing it the hard way. I'm calling the police.", Nicki said.

She grabbed her phone and I took it away from her and backed her up into a wall.

"W-what are you doing?"

I chuckled and shook my head.

"You was doing all that talking, now you quiet."

"You have me backed up into a wall. What else am I supposed to be? Be happy about it?"

"You have a mouth on you. Anybody ever told you that?"

"Yup and you aren't going to do shit about I-.."

I interrupted her by kissing her and she kissed back.

"Meek.", she mumbled on my lips.

We fought for dominance and of course, I won. I backed away from her and she stared at me.

"Did you really just kiss me or am I imaging things?", she asked and I laughed.

"I kissed you ma."

I walked back over to her and moved some of her hair, behind her ear.

"I'm really trying to get to know you Onika. Will you let me?"

"Will you promise that you won't hurt me again?", she asked and I nodded.

"No. I want to hear you say it."

"I promise I won't hurt you again."

"So why did you guys move here?", Meek asked.

"My moms job. My dad didn't want too but my mom was getting more money. My dad died of a heart attack 3 months after we moved here.", I said.

"I remember. You were crying the whole day.", he said and I nodded.

"That's when the bullying started. By you."
