Ian's POV~
An hour after leaving Donovan's house I arrived at my house. After saying a quick thank you and goodbye to John I made my way inside. Once the harnesses of my dogs are off I begin to search for my friends. Finding them all waiting patiently in the kitchen, sitting at the table. Lightly chatting as they wait for me.
"Hey, Ian. Why did you call us here?" Connor said as he was the first one to notice me. Everyone else looked over at me as I walked further into the Kitchen.
"Yeah Ian, you scared me a little with the text you sent me," Ethan said. Walking over to me he wrapped his arms around my shoulders.
"We have a problem," I said unwrapping myself from Ethan's embrace. Before they can ask any more questions I turned to Ethan. "Did you set up the meeting with the council?"
"Yeah, but why did I need to set up a meeting with the council? Does this have anything to do with Donovan? Did he do something to you?'' Ethan said as he moved to stand closer to me.
"Good we should get going then," I said ignoring the questions he had for me. Not looking at any of them in the eye, I began to walk to the back porch.
"Ian wait! You didn't answer any of my questions," Ethan said grabbing my hand to stop me from walking further away.
Letting out a sigh I turn back to Ethan. "No, Donovan didn't do anything. I'm actually glad that he was with me. But come on I need to talk to the council as soon as possible."
"Then what happened?" Brady said stopping me from moving. Standing up from his spot at the table he walked over to where Ethan and I were standing. From the corner of my eyes I see Connor get up and leave. "Did you do something you weren't suppose to? Did Donovan see you do magic?"
"What? No, I didn't do anything bad. And Donovan didn't see me do magic. In fact I think he forgot about the little indecent I had with him in the park yesterday."
"Then what happened that you need to talk to the council?" lrylen said now standing up to be by me.
"I'll tell you all on the way there, but we need to go now," I pleaded. I then felt my chest start to tighten. My breath becoming short and hollow.
"No Ian we're not going anywhere until you tell us what's going on," Kailin how said standing around me.
Being the shortest out of all my friends was sometimes nice. Since I'm small I can be easily be carried by any of them. I could easily escape from their hold. I can even sneak past them and they wouldn't even notice. And I can hide in places where most of them wont even be able to get to. But being short also had it's downsides. While I'm the smallest out of all my friends, I am also the oldest. Even though I'm older than all of them I still get treated like the youngest due to my size. When all teamed together, like they are right now, they can all hover over me and corner me.
My breath started to become short and shallow. Their tall figures looming over me. They are getting far to close for my comfort. That's when Connor came back and broke the circle around me.
"You guys stop that. You know Ian hates small enclosed spaces," Connor said pushing everyone back. Turning around he gave me a water bottle and one of my medicine. "Here. Now why don't you sit down and tell us what happened. The council won't be ready to talk for another hour."
Leading me to the table, Connor sat me down in one of the chairs. Taking the pill from my hand I put it in my mouth and swallow it down with the water. The pill instantly doing its job. My muscles relaxing and my breathing no longer short. Everyone was on longer looming over me but now either sitting at the table or standing behind the chairs.
