"The council has decided to trigger the remaining two." He continued, his face growing solemn.

"What are they?" I whispered.

"Shade and Astrakinesis."

"The ability to control shadows and lightning."

"Yes." He confirmed.

"Do it." I said suddenly. "Do it because it might help get my family back."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. I want Fitz and Tam here with me though."

"Alright, get them over here." He said, sighing.

Fitz.  I transmitted.

Yes? He replied.

Come over to where Granite and I are. Bring Tam.

Alright. Why?

Time to trigger abilities,  I guess.

WHAT?

Forkle lied when he said enhancer was my last ability.

what is the new one?

new ones

WHAT?

Astrakinesis and Shade

dude I'd hate to be against you

well you won't be against me, cognate They appeared on the hill, both of them hurrying down the hill. Tam grabbed my hand, and Fitz grabbed my other.

"Now how did I need to trigger it?" He muttered. "Right!" He said, and he walked towards me.

"Alright, this won't hurt." He said, and he pressed his fingers on my temple.

Ten minutes later, I had two more abilities and was playing with the astrakinesis. Councillor Zarina had come at Granite's request, and was helping me.

2 weeks later~

I was just as good at manipulating the shadows as Tam or Crei was, which made both boys angry. My skill at Astrakinesis was just as good, and today was the day we were leaving to rescue my family. I still had the memory from Silveny in my brain, and I only needed that to be able to teleport there. She had given me a memory of a secluded and hidden spot, so being noticed as we entered wasn't going to be a problem. We all had Havenfield crystals, so we could easily get back. I gripped Fitz's and Tam's hands, gloves off. I would not be needing them this trip. We were on top of the cliff at Havenfield, and our parents were standing by. Natalie was here too. I let go of their hands in order to hug Grady and Edaline, as well as Natalie. Della pulled me into a hug, then Alden, then Juline, and then even Kesler pulled me into a hug. Then, as soon as the good lucks and stay safes were over, I pulled the group over the edge. None of us screamed on the way down, as I teleported us to the location in my mind. We were there in a second, all of us tumbling to the grass with an 'oomph'. Luckily, we weren't near any people. We all dusted ourselves off, checked out weapons, and then silently made our way into the hideout. Keefe was pale, eyes wide with fear as his eyes scanned the people walking past us. I kept a tight grip and Tam's hand, as well as Fitz's hand. Fitz and I kept our minds connected at all times, just in case. We made our way to the prison without incident, but this was where it got harder. It was heavily guarded, and all were alert, scanning the grounds. Fitz and I opened our minds to the rest of the group, as was planned.

Plan? I transmitted.

You and Tam could hide us with your shadows. Linh suggested.
