She always believed magic was real in one way or another. Maybe not always how you read about it in fairy-tale books where prince Charming came rescuing the princes after being kidnapped by a dragon, or in those science-fiction movies where only a handful of people save an entire planet after being taken over by their enemy. No, she believed magic could be found much easier, you just have to look closer and better to find it. To her, magic could be everywhere and in everything.

It was the way she lived and it was why she was one of the best photographers in the world. She saw magic everywhere and knew how to capture it on her camera. People always told her she had a special gift for these kind of things, they told her they could feel everything, hear everything or sometimes even smell everything she captured with her camera. When people ask her how she does it every time, she just can't explain it. It's a feeling you get when you're walking with your camera and taking the right shots. That, to her was real magic. The magic lives through everything on earth, it was just the way you looked at if of you could find it or not.

For example, she loved photographing flowers. To most people that was just what they were, flowers. Some pretty, some not, some smelling nice and some disgusting. She however, saw much more than that. She noticed how animals can live because of them, how another world exits because of it. One with peace, one that just continues whatever happens to the rest of the world. This exact feeling is what she tries to capture with her camera and most of the time it works.

Today was no different as she found herself standing in the most beautiful rainforest she had ever visited. She decided to go alone today, so she had everything to herself. No one who would disturb her while shooting and no intern to look after. Today it was her moment to improve her skills, because to her opinion their always was room to improve and to be better.

The place where she was standing was just breath-taking, quite literally actually. The air was dense and so humid that she had trouble breathing but tried to ignore it. Something much harder to ignore was the temperature, it was so hot she could practically feel the hairs on her skin, that wasn't protected by any clothes, burn because of it. Instead of complaining, she focussed on her main goal. Yes, sometimes photographing wasn't always easy and took a lot of effort, but in the end it was always worth it. Sometimes she could even use these circumstances in her photos and get the best result because of it.

She looked at the scene in front of her, taking everything in so she knew where to best set up her equipment, which was a lot. The first thing she noticed was the waterfall and how the curtains of blue satin collided with hints of silver sparkles and softly draped down onto the water beneath it, not making as much noise as she would originally expect from such a big waterfall. From there the clear blue water was quiet and the water basin was big enough for some larger fish to swim around, some of which she could see. On top of the water, she saw different sizes of lily leaves floating around peacefully. A view occupied by croaking frogs, busy eating some zooming flies. The path of the bridge followed right behind the waterfall.

Looking further around, she saw some of the most unique flowers she'd ever seen. They were everywhere, some bright pink and large ones next to the waterfall spread across the entire surface of the rocks. Some smaller and yellow ones combined with bright green flowers spread on the bushes near the water basin. A rainbow was forming and allowing to give the flowers magical glowing effects as well as making the crystal blue water more magical because it reflected the multiple colours. The light of the fireflies dancing around made you believe that magic did exists in this place.

She could smell a hint of honey coming from the flowers, mixed with the sweetness of vanilla and the fresh scent of trees combined with a woody flair.

As she was breathing in all of the mixed scents, she could see the canopy of trees surrounding all of it and leaving enough space open to for the sun to give the perfect lighting. For taking the best shot, she had to make sure she wasn't hurting the singing birds, slithering snakes or any other animals that may be there. She had just found the perfect spot which combined all of it.
