My Image or Maybe Love

"Good you're back, come on." Olly said. "I think i had an unoffical lunch date type thing with Airley." I told him when we were under the tent. "Really?" Olly asked. "I paid for our lunches and now I'm making up for everything I said to her in person and on twitter." I told him. "Good, you know what this could do for your image." He said before starting to go on about it. "Olly, I'm not using her for anything." I told him. "Kid don't tell me you're in love." He said. "I might be." I said before intros were about to start.

*Airley's P.O.V.*

I drove myself to some place I found on the way to the hotel so I could get some lunch, the food at the track isn't always the best and I like other food than what they usually have. I got out of my rental car and started to walk to the door when I heard "hey Airley fancy meeting you here." Austin was behind me smiling. "Uh, hi Austin." I said confused to why he was being nice all of a sudden. "I'm sorry for being mean to you, I can't help it when I see you mean things just come out I don't mean them, you're beautiful." He told me which made me blush. "Well you haven't said a mean thing yet, now I'm hungry you coming or what?" I asked he opened the doors for me like a gentleman and paid for both of our lunches.

"You didn't have to do that." I said when we were standing by my car he opened the doors when we left the building too. "I wanted to, I want to make up for everything I've said to you and the whole twitter thing." He told me. "Oh, ok you can make up for every mean thing you've said or done." I replied which made him smile I mean he hasn't done that much damage and he is cute. "But you have three more races to do things." I then said which made me kind of sad because I wouldn't be seeing him for eight weeks when the east class races. "Well we better get back, I'll see you in a bit." I said before he opened the car door and I got in he then got out of the way and I closed the door before driving away and back to the track.

"What the hell just happened?" I asked myself on the drive back to the track. "I'm starting to like that Austin hopefully he stays." I then said. "Shawn the weirdest thing just happened." I told him when I got back to the tent Ken and Cole where there too thankfully. "What happened little grasshopper?" Ken asked. "I think I went on an unofficial date with Austin Forkner." I told them. "What?" They asked. "He opened doors for me and paid for my lunch." I explained. "Did you two eat together too?" Cole asked. "Yeah, it was weird." I told them. "Olly his mechanic talked to me and asked me if you liked Austin." Shawn said.

"I think if this Austin keeps up I'll start to like him." I told them. "What'd you two talk about?" Cole asked. "Well we just ate in silenced trying not to be noticed by what fans we may have then when we were in the parking lot he told me that he wants to make up for every mean thing he has said in person and on twitter." I told them. "He's got it bad for you." Ken said before it was time for things to start.

I ended up not finishing after falling off my bike in the middle of the race and having the wind knocked out of me while falling on my wrist. "Is your wrist ok?" Shawn asked me when I finally got to him. "Yeah I just landed on it, i'll be racing next weekend." I told him. "Well we should get you to a doctor just in case." He said. "Tomorrow." I replied. "Airley what if it's hurt?" He asked. "I'd be screaming in pain, or holding my wrist, I'll wrap it for you though just to be sure until tomorrow." I told him. "Alright." He said before leaving to get me a wrap. "Austin came in fourth." Shawn said coming back and wrapping my wrist. "Oh good for him." I said before I felt arms wrap around my waist.

"Hi." I said confused. "Hey Airley." Austin. "What's going on?" I asked. "Are you ok that was a hard crash." He said. "Yeah just a hurt wrist I'll be back racing next week." I told him showing him my wrapped wrist as he let me go. "Good, I'm taking you out next week before we leave." He told me. "Alright sounds good." I replied. "I want to show you I'm not a mean guy." He told me. "Good job on fourth, you're going to get the podium soon." I then told him. "Hey, thanks you'll get the podium soon too you're amazing on a bike." He replied which made me kind of blush I mean just a little. "Thanks." I replied before we said bye and he went to go see Olly and I went back to the tent and waited for the 450 to end since for some reason I was Cole's ride to the hotel.

"Why am I waiting for Cole?" I asked Shawn as he was waiting with me to make sure I was ok until Cole was done. "Because they forgot to get him a rental car so we had to pair him with someone and we wanted to keep you safe from uh I guess mean Austin." He told me. "Oh ok that makes a lot of sense." I replied. "Ken fell, oh my gosh ken fell that's not a good fall not like mine." I said getting panicked. "Hey hey hey, Airley it's ok." Shawn said hugging me. "What if his season is over?" I asked before he let go and another pair of arms wrapped around me. "Ken's gonna be ok." Austin said. "What if he's not?" I asked burying my face into Austin's chest.

"Everything will be ok Airley I promise." He said rubbing my back. "He's my teammate and one of my friends." I told him. "I know Airley I know." He replied before I wrapped my arms around him. "Thank you Austin." I said when I finally felt better. "Hey, he's your friend and teammate and I told you I'm going to make up everything to you that's been said." Austin said.
