Zero awoke the next morning, and there was a note stuck to his forehead in peanut butter.
Zero: Seriously?!
He went to his mirror and, taking off the note first, wiping the peanut butter off his forehead. He looked at the note.
Zero,
please come to my office this morning. I have someone you would like to meet.
-Headmaster Cross
Zero: Are you serious?
He soughed and get his uniform on. After that, he walked to the Headmaster's office. He opened the door, totally uninvited. Standing by the headmaster's desk, was a purple haired girl in a day class girls uniform. Her head hung low and bangs clouding her eyes.
Headmaster: Good morning Zero.
Zero: Good morning.
The headmaster gestured to the girl next to him.
Headmaster: This is Ryuto. She'll be following you around the school. I have a feeling you two will be... good... friends.
Zero looked at him suspiciously but brushed it off and left with the new student. She had her head down, looking at her feet as she walked. Zero snack a glance at her every now and then.
Zero: Your really quiet, ya'knoe that?
Ryuto jumped slightly, not expecting him to talk to her.
Ryuto: U-u-um...
Zero chuckled lightly.
Zero: Are you, like, socially awkward or something?
Ryuto stared at her shoes.
Ryuto: its more like social anxiety.
Zero: You have social anxiety?
Ryuto: kinda. maybe it is more socially awkward-ness...
Zero chuckled again.
Zero: You should probably figure that out.
Ryuto finally looked up from her feet and up at Zero. She looked into his eyes for a second, then closed hers and smiled at him.
Ryuto: Yeah. Your probably right.
