WOW! X Chapter 2

Sandy found me in the bathroom, checking my hair and make up in the mirror. I gave her the knowing look.

"So you and Gary hey, wit woo."

She blushed "I dunno what your talking about."

Yeah right she knew. So I figured I would push my luck.

"So you don't mind if I go for it then," I teased.

Her face was a picture. She was speechless. I could tell she was trying to work out if I was serious or not.

"I'm only joking, I can tell you like each other. You both totally smitten, kitten. What you waiting for? Get in there girl!"

"It's not that simple, he's my brothers best mate and I've know him all my life. I've been struggling to come to terms with the change in my feelings for him for a while now and I don't want to spoil what we already have which is a great friendship. Plus he's always been part of my family so if it all goes 'tits up' it would affect more people than just us. I wasn't even sure I was reading the signs right until you just confirmed it and now thanks to your confirmation, I don't know if I can go back out there and face him without turning red, having an anxiety attack and possibly throwing up. What am I going to do Stace?" Her head fell into her hands and the trauma was clear to see. She really cared for this guy and had obviously been worrying about this for a long time without confiding in anyone. She had me now and I was going to help her find a resolution.

"So what is holding you back? Are you worried that your brother won't approve? Or are you worried that Gary is just looking to get his leg over and dump you? I know I've only just met him but he doesn't seem like that type of guy to me."

"No, no he isn't and my brother is always accusing us of being soft on each other so he would be well happy for us." It was so endearing how quickly she jumped to his defend his character.

"Well in that case girl you've got no excuse, get out there and play kissing!" I commanded and pointed to door.

She blushed even redder and grinned ear to ear. So I teased further.

"He is smoking hot, you better 'get in there' before someone else does... wait scratch that... seeing as he only has eyes for you, I don't think there is a rush, but if I were you I wouldn't be wasting valuable making out time by staying locked in a bathroom with me, when there is a nice piece of 'man candy' out there waiting for ya."

I had no reason to doubt he would. Ok he was playing it cool by not stalking her, but he was definitely smitten and probably just waiting for the right opportunities to present themselves so he would have an excuse to be near her again. Even the jokey way he was with me earlier was obviously a way to try to get a reaction out of her. He wasn't trying to make her jealous; he was just trying to make her laugh, because although she avoided making eye contact with him normally, when he made her laugh she couldn't help but look at him. He had appointed himself her court Jester. What a lovely thing to do.

That's what she needed, she needed to stop being so serious and I was just the girl to help her. Me serious, never!

"Listen I've felt his hands on my hips and him pushed up behind me at the bar and I can't believe you are not willing to experience that first hand cos I can tell you it was phenomenal... and his thing... well that was," I howled laughed as she slapped me.

"Yeah I was well jealous, you lucky bitch! I told myself to get a grip but your face.... I couldn't help but laugh it was so funny".

Something told me the face she was remembering most as that scene replayed in her head was not mine. I had to get them together, things had to get moving, I was good at this, and I had fixed loads of mates up so this was going to be easy. They just needed the motivation to take the next step.
