WOW! X Chapter 23

Sandy and were lying in by the pool watching Austin and the others playing. I was quite surprised that he didn't have arm bands on but Shane and Gary had apparently taught him to swim since he was born so it would be natural to him and it was. He was like a fish. No fear whatsoever and he loved it. Amazingly Harry swam around with him. Cats are suppose to hate water but Harry loved it.

Sitting here reminded me of the time I had made Shane cry after the party. It also reminded that I still didn't know what happened and I dare not ask him when he got back from work later.

"Sandy?" I said quietly.

"Yeah?" she said as she lay there with her bikini clad baby belly showing.

"Can I ask you something?" I was losing the bottle now.

"Sure, what?"

"Well you don't have to answer if you don't want to. I just want to know as it's been playing on my mind and I just want to know so I can forget about it. If that makes sense?" I rambled.

"What you want me to tell you something so you can forget it? Are you feeling alright?" she asked and pulled down her sun glasses so she could get a better look at me.

"Yeah sorry, I'm not making much sense am I? Like I said you don't have to answer..."

"For Christ sake Stacey spit the question out," she said hormonal as she was having an uncomfortable baby day.

"Ok," I took a deep breath.

"Stacey!" she was getting annoyed now.

"Sorry it just Shane will kill me if he finds out I asked you this. On the night of the party who did he fight with and why?" I said quickly and hung my head in shame as I felt like I was going behind Shane's back.

"You still don't know?" she was shocked.

I shook my head.

"I thought he told you that night after you had a barny with him. Gary said you went mad at him."

"Not something I'm proud of but yeah I did and I was totally out of order but he still never told me and cos I'd been such a massive bitch I didn't push it," I confessed.

"Are you sure you wanna know now?" she said and her tone made me anxious.

"Would you want to know if it was Gary?" I asked knowing what her answer would be.

"Yeah I suppose I would. Ok. He had a fight with Conrad," she said and I could tell she felt like she was betraying her brothers trust.

"Conrad?" I asked shocked.

"Yes your stalker. He was asking for it though. He was the one who told them about me, you and Lenny in front of all the lads at work. God knows how he found out but he knew that would piss Gary off. He was also hoping it would vex Shane enough to argue with you. Gary came over to me and asked to see me outside. He asked me if it was true and I said yeah. When Gary started swearing in anger I thought he was talking about me but apparently it was about Conrad coming to the party and announcing that. Shane was trying to calm him down as they could get suspended for fighting with work colleagues. By this time you had turned up and I said to you that he thought I was a slag. We went off on one and according to the other lads Conrad stood there watching and laughing. He loved it when you shoved Shane away but when you said you weren't angry with him that you loved him, Conrad was fuming. Their work mates loved out lesbian kissing by the way," she smiled.

"Then what happened?" I was totally intrigued.

"Apparently Conrad disappeared into the crowd so Gary wouldn't knock him out and Shane's boss asked about Conrad and you. He thought you were his ex as he had seen your picture in his wallet once when he paid for lunch."
