WOW! X Chapter 20

When it came to making our announcement. We just put the picture on the kitchen table and watched as they all 'Ohh' and 'Ahh' at them. We didn't tell them how many there were yet.

It was Gary who said "Looked at the group shot," first and burst into fits of giggles.

Shane smiled at him and nodded. Then everyone started asking what was so funny. They couldn't see what he had.

"Just count them," he said pointing at the picture whilst still howling laughing.

Sandy looked more intently and Austin put his little finger on it and said "One baby, two baby and three babies" and looked up proud of himself for counting them.

"Oh my god" Sandy said and stared at me. "Triplets!"

"Yeah," I said and giggled at how absurd it sounded but I was getting use to it.

"You are having THREE babies!" she repeated, astounded.

"Yep!" Shane said proudly.

"Oh my god I am shitting myself for tomorrow, please don't let more than one be in there, please!" she said placing her hand over her tiny bump that was barely noticeable.

"Yeah, I don't think I could cope," Gary said. "If there is more than one in there I might faint, seriously a guy can only take so much!"

They were serious they were not happy with the thought of more than one baby. Panic and fear on their faces.

"Jesus man, you got her good and proper. You couldn't get her more pregnant if you tried!" Gary said to Shane and they touched knuckles in a congrats fashion.

"Yeah tell me about it" I said. "I've got to grow the little buggers."

"I'll be surprised if you let him near you ever again," Sandy said.

Shane and I laughed.

"Well I did threaten him with that whilst crying with shock. The radiographer had advised him not to touch me or I might rip his hand off and slap him with it," I said.

Gary howled laughing and Sandy said "I don't blame you!"

"You're never getting it again matey," Gary jibbed, and Shane gave him a look which gave us away.

"You've already had it. How did you manage that? You have just come straight back from the hospital..." he paused and watched us as we smiled at each other and Shane shrugged his shoulders.

"You dirty dog in the back of the car in a hospital car park?" Gary guessed.

We nodded and kissed each other ready for round two.

"Don't you act so innocent it's not like we haven't done it in the back of a car" Sandy said to him.

"Whoooo, Gary I didn't know you had an adventurous streak" I teased and he actually blushed which cracked Shane up.

"That's a lovely shade of red you've gone there, do you think your baby will have those coloured cheeks," Shane teased him.

"Piss off, the pair of ya or should I say the 'gang' of ya. Jesus Stacey you are going to get huge," Gary said deflecting the attention back on to me.

"Thanks for that Gary," I said through gritted teeth and slapped his arm. "Remind me next time I puke, to aim for you!"

"Come on sexy let go get naked again," Shane said and pulled me off to his room. Well he only had to tug my hand once and then I shouted "Race ya!" and legged it.

He caught up with me in two seconds and swung me up in his arms. Kissing me. We got into his room, sorry 'our' room and locked the door whilst still holding me. We had taken to locking the door as Austin had become a regular when we didn't.
