LEIGHTON

Walking down London to the beat of the music coming from my headphones. Passing all these strangers with a story behind them.

I always wondered if their life was a good one. Looking around seeing kids holding on tho their parents hand from fear of so much people to elderly couples looking at each other with a feeling I never felt before; love. Oh, how much I want to feel loved, wether by my mum or by the 'one' which I haven't found and I'm starting to feel like I never will.

I took out the headphones and stopped the music while I walked into the small bakery to see it was packed. I walked behind the counter and greeted Ever.

"Hey, Ever. Why is it so busy today?"

I threw on my apron while walking up to the second cash register.

"A lot of graduations are happening tomorrow I assume."

I typed in the cost omers order, "that'll be £52.00."

I heard the costumer mutter profane words to himself and shoved 60 pounds in my face. I held back the roll of my eyes while looking up at him.

"Your change is 6.00 pounds, hunny." I made my sarcastic remark with a smirk.

He looked up and I couldn't help but gasp. He had stunning green eyes and a head of curly brown locks.

"What did you call me." he literally growled.

"N-nothing. Sorry." I took the money and have him the change.

"E-Ever, go get me that cake. Number 62, for-" I waited to tell me his name.

"Harry. Harry Styles." He smirked.

"For Harry Styles."

"Okay!"

"What's your name babe?" he looked me in the eye making me squirm.

"Leighton Rae" I muttered looking at the cash register. "You have to wait over there for your cake I have other customers to get to."

He walked to where I told him with a smirk evident on his face.

About ten minutes later he was walking out the door, not without looking me in the eye and winked.

I walked to the tube and grabbed my Oyster card and scanned it. I waited there alone thinking about this Harry guy.

Why am I even thinking about him? Just forget him.

I walked into the tube and fortunately there was only a few people on.

After a couple stops I walk out of the tube and put my headphones in my ears. Waking to the beat, I got home as quick as I can.

I opened the door with my key and I didn't hear a thing.

"Josh? Are you here? Emily?" I walked around hearing nothing.

I walk into the kitchen grabbing a pack of Oreos and walked into the living room. I turned the TV on and plopped down on the couch, eating my Oreos. About two hours later I decided to go to bed.

I turned the TV and the lights off and headed into my room. I quickly undressed and put on pajamas. I threw my self on the bed and turned off the lamp next to me. I closed my eyelids and was knocked out by tiredness.
