Chapter 2

Percy's P.O.V

-recap- that girl screamed getting the attention of Chiron

Chiron galloped over too us "Percy,Annabeth what is going- oh my" he cut himself off

The hybrid thing was coming fast, like really fast. Then I realized there was someone else behind it, 2 someones. They ran quite fast for how young they looked, There was a guy probably 16 running behind a very fast teenage girl, she looked about 13 or 14.

I looked to Annabeth and she saw them too, then noticed em staring and there was a look in her eyes, a look that I haven't seen in a very long time, fear. then I looked at the girl she was looking at the monster wide eyed, then she saw the people and her eyes got wider and a very faint smile came across her face. I heard her whisper something inaudible. I just decide to ask her later.

As both the kids and the monster got close to the force feild the girl caught up and got in front of it. She had a bronze looking sword in her hand, and yelled to it :

"Hey! oh you thought you were done with me huh?" wow she was almost as confident as Clarisse, and thats saying somthing.

"thats impossible" Annabeth muttered, what was impossible i had know idea but that dosent matter.

I looked to Chiron who had a crowd around him of worried campers, He payed me no attention, and stared in awe at the scene in front of him. Then I realized what he was looking at, that girl and that guy were single or I guess double handedly taking on the monster

They ducked, rolled, you name it they dogged everything the monster threw at them. It was amazing watching them, other campers tried to help but the monster shooed them away, with his acid breath, and they kept fighting. They were amazing I know i already said that but wow.

The girl dogged another attempt and yelled "C'mon is that all you got!"

I then saw their plan the boy was sneaking up on the monster with a silver spear, then he stepped on a twig and the monster turned with remarkable speed and he started to run for his life. The girl just sighed like this happened a lot, like it was totally normal. Then she turned to us and said with sarcasm "well don't bother helping!" and ran off to help the boy. Me and a few other campers ran to help. Then the unexpected happened she ran for the monster jumped on its back and slashed the monster while she rolled off and landed perfectly on the ground.

After that the monster turned to dust. The girl was panting with her hands on her knees, then walked up to where the boy was on the ground and helped him up.

"Gods child!" I heard Chiron say, I hadn't even realized he was behind me.

"Nice to see you too Chiron" she replied

I couldn't help but smile I was starting to like this girl. Then that little girl yeah remember her cam up and stood next to me. The older girl walked closer.

"I see you made it here safely" she said with a comforting smile. The kid just smiled.

"And who might you be?" I ask stepping a little bit in front of the kid

"I might ask you the same question." she states "Callie, daughter of apollo."

A/N: I know its short but it goes to much together to make more than one chapter, so on that note good rid dens or how ever that saying goes.
