Chapter 6

Callie's P.O.V

As I was practicing my archery in the shooting field I saw Percy struggling beside me, I walked over to him and tried to help him with the bow.

"Here." I said taking his bow from him and notching his arrow. "Thanks." he replied

"You know its easier if you turn the bow around." I say helping him "Archery isn't really your thing is it." I said cracking a smile "Not all of our parents are the god of archery." he said showing his smirk "Doesn't mean you don't half to try." i say "Let me show you." I say picking up my bow and notching my arrow, then I let it fly and landed in a perfect bullseye.

"There not so hard is it." I say going back to my spot, I think I shocked him because he watched me back and saw me shoot a few times more.

I got to my old position, right under Zues' fist. Annabeth had already explained the plan to us, her percy and Malcolm (an Athena half blood) would distract the enemy since they are always the ones to get the flags, then the quicks ones sneak right past. The horn blew, game on. I saw Malcolm run past me with an angry group of Ares campers, I took my chance and ran for it. They never learn do they same spot as always, by the big oak. I saw the flag but didn't take it my job was to find the flag, tell Annabeth or Percy and wait at the lines. I was assigned this since I am very good at sneak attacks.I ran back to our hiding spot percy was there I ran to him.

"Big oak west of the river." i say between breaths "Nice." he says "stay on defense okay?" "I will." I say

I stay hidden and I hear somebody running by perfect. I step forward to see who it was, they were on the other side of the parting. This was my chance, to re-prove myself. I ran right under them,swipping the flag off the pole. They crossed the border line, thinking they'd accomplished something.

"Missing something?" I say smirking to them, then Percy ran acoss the border with their flag. Yelling in accomplishment He said "How's that!"

Percy was turning out to be pretty cool. I mean he was a good fighter (excluding archery) , he seemed to be good to Annabeth, he seemed nice himself, but he always was reserved when it came to his early life.
