Chapter 15

Nico's P.O.V.

No, just no. This is not the time for this to happen. Can't he just wait some time? Persephone just had to come right now. Now I got all my friends into all this trouble.

"Well, I see we have some lost travelers." my fathers voice rumbled through the hall

"Hello." Leo waved nervously

"Who are you two?" Hades asks

"Well, I'm Leo son of Hephaestus, and this is Callie daughter of-"

"Apollo." Callie cut Leo off

"Apollo? Isn't this out of your range girl?" Hades said rudely

"Out of my comfort zone yes, but, we're on a quest." Callie replied justly

"Very well. Nico my boy you've grown." Hades said

"Hehe, yeah, nice to see you too dad." I repulsed nervously

"Your sister would've been nicer." he mumbled to think I couldn't hear, I could

"What shall you do with them." Persephone said in disgust

"Right, as for that," He pondered that for a moment

"Well?" she asks impatiently

"We could kill them and throw them in the fields of Asphodel?" she asks

"No, no to difficult, they've got Jackson, maybe we can give him to the-"

"That's really not neccisarry is it?" Annabeth cut him off

"Dad?" I ask fearful, he got up looked at us and began to walk over.

"You certainly have Apollo's hair, no doubt about it, but you have green eyes." he said to Callie

"That i do." Callie replied justly

"A color, that only a few demigods have had." He says

"Well i guess i'm lucky." Callie nervously, was she hiding something? Hades started to say something but didn't finish the thought.

After that is kind of a blur, something came up and hit percy and he crumpled to the floor. Next went Leo, and he was dragged off. Before Annabeth, Callie, or me could react we were all attacked.

"Where'd they go?" Calle practically yelled between her fight

"I don't know! Annabeth you see them?" I yell in response

"No" she yells, I take one glance at Callie and Annabeth and get knocked out. Bedore everything goes black I heard screams, from who I'm clueless.

I woke up head throbbing on a sleeping bag.

"And he wakes." percy says as I sit up

"Where's L-"

"Shh." he says covering my mouth

"He got caught, and I don't want Callie to get upset, or cry." he said glumly

"We can hear you two." Callie says while sharpening her sword by the fire with Annabeth. Callie tossed me a bag of ambrosia.

"I don't need any-"

"Well if your so strong drink some nectar then." Annabeth said angrily

"Annabeth, you should get some sleep.". Callie said calming her down. her voice was soft yet scratchy at The same time.

"Fine," she muttered. "but that's not doing any good." I gathered the courage to ask.

"What happened?" I asked carefully, Callie tended a bit and Percy shot me a death glare

"We managed to get you two out without getting us killed." he said slowing her sharpening.

"What about Leo then?" I ask not stopping myself

"Okay Nico I think you hit your head a little to hard better get back to sleep." Percy said warningly pushing me back down

"It's fine Percy, I don't know where he is and I don't know how he got caught, I'm stupid for not paying attention." Callie said without looking at us.

"Callie, it's not your fault. We don't even know why they took him. He could be bait for one of us." I said

"Maybe, but he also may be dead." Callie inquired

"Hey we don't know that, he could be out looking for us right now." Percy said encouragingly

"Yeah, sure." she said quietly

The rest of the night was quiet. Spending some time on who was taking first watch, Callie insisted and Percy joined her so that left Annabeth Grover and me to sleep.

Percy's P.O.V.

I say there and watched Callie sharpening her arrows. (A/N: I guess I never mentioned that Callie has a sword that turns into a ring and a bow with a quiver of replenishing arrows that turns into a necklace.). She didn't say a word. A lot must be on her mind. If I ever lost Annabeth I would be plotting different ways to kill her captor, so this didn't surprise me much.

"He'll come back." i said without realizing it. She looked up at me and made eye contact for once.

"What makes you think that?" she asks annoyed

"Leo's smart he'll figure a way out, and if he doesn't he might just burn everything out of the way." I say

"That's true but he also got knocked out cold, he is going to be confused, lost, not knowing where we are." she replied. There was no reason for her to go on, she was right but I couldn't let her think so.

"You can't just give up now Callie." I say

"I'm not giving up, I leave in a few hours." she said

"What?" I ask surprised

"I'm going to get my boyfriend back ad you guys are going back to camp." she replied

"You can't do this on your own Callie."

"Watch me." she said getting up.

"You expect me to let you do this?"

"I'm not letting you stop me."she says, I grab her wrist

"Back, off." she said warningly

"Callie," I said still holding her "You can come with us, we'll find Leo and we'll all be fine."

"You don't get this do you? Never mind, I can't expect that you would."she said angrily

"Wait just-"

"Don't percy, I appreciate you trumping to help but I have to do this on my own.". Callie said taking her wrist back

"Go back to camp, live your life, ill get Leo out, I promise." she said looking me in the eyes

"Be careful, both of you, come back." I say

"Okay." she says walking off

"I knew she'd go..." somebody said behind me

"Annabeth, you scared me what are you doing up." I say

"I think you did your best, there was no stopping her."

"So you heard all of it?"

"Yes, Grover was right, you are adorable some times." She said

"Just sometimes?" I ask smirking, Changing the subject.

"Do you think her arm will heal?" I ask Annabeth

"Hopefully." she replied
