"I'm just happy that whole ordeal is over," Kaji groaned, she half mumbled it to herself, wondering if Karma, who was walking beside her, would say anything about it.

"You still convinced that you have some grey hairs?" He replied. Kaji didn't say anything but simply gave him a dirty look

It was late afternoon and the sky was painted in orange and purple colors. Kaji felt that some days she was glade that she and Karma went home the same way, other times she didn't. Today, she wasn't really sure. Her mind was still filled with the thoughts of Kayano and Korosensei's painful love, if you wish to call it that. Kaji wasn't sure what else to call it. Sacrifices? Maybe something along that line.

She had a thought of asking Karma about it but she wasn't sure if she should. It could ether be some ridicules answer or an actual answer. Add the fact that Kaji had no idea how she would even word it didn't help.

"Do you still have that cat?" Karma asked, breaking Kaji from her thoughts.

"Huh?" Kaji was caught by surprise from his question, having to think for a moment to answer. "Yes of corse." Kaji found his question rather funny seeing how he doesn't like Foriá and Foriá doesn't like him. Karma seemed like he was just trying to start some sort of a conversation.

"Karma," Kaji forced out her words, "what do you think of Korosensei and Kayano-san's, actions?" Kaji wasn't sure how call it, she just hoped Karma got what she was saying. She really did not want to say it again.

Karma didn't say anything for what seemed like ages. "What they did for Yukimura-sensei?" He asked. Kaji nodded. "Why do you ask?" Kaji felt her heart drop, having no idea what to say or no way to find it. She said nothing.

Karma simply shrugged, "I'm not sure how to think of it." His answer puzzled Kaji, she was hoping for some sort of answer from him, not that. "Well, why do you think they did all of that," Kaji spoke rather fast, keeping her head down.

"They both loved her, didn't they?" Karma asked, Kaji could feel his amber eyes staring down at her. Kaji didn't look up, she simply nodded.

"Is that why you asked me?" Karma's words confused Kaji. "W-what do you mean?" Kaji cursed herself for stuttering.

"Both Korosensei and Kayano loved Yukimura-sensei, and as far as I know you have no idea what love is." Kaji felt her cheeks flush.

"I guess I was right," Karma said, his mocking tone returning. Kaji opened her mouth to retaliate but nothing came out. She hated the fact that Karma had guessed to easily.

"Well," Kaji spoke quietly, "what do you think about it?"

Karma hummed, Kaji still didn't look up at him but could still sense his playful behavior. "Well there's sexual love-"

"That's not what I meant," Kaji snapped, her cheeks were still flushed a light pink. Karma laughed, sounding as if he enjoyed his own joke.

"There's a parents love and a partners love," Karma sounded as if he was mostly talking to himself. "I assume you're asking about a partners love?"

"Well it's not like I'll get a parents love," Kaji said.

"From all the books you read you don't know?" Karma sounded as if he was digging for answers. At this point, Kaji didn't care.

"I don't like romances very much and life isn't like a book," she said, her tone was crisp.

Karma didn't say a word, Kaji wished she knew what was going through his mind.

Kaji didn't notice how time had slipped away, they had reached where they would normally depart.

They stood in silence for what seemed like ages. Kaji assumed that there would be no parting words and turned to walk off. However she was caught off guard by something warm pressed against her cheek. It took Kaji a moment to realize what exactly was going on. Once she did, her whole face burned bright red. This warm feeling against her skin was Karma. He had planted a light kiss on Kaji's cheek.

"See you tomorrow then!" Karma sounded rather amused with himself as he turned to walk away. Kaji just watched him walk off, she wanted to say something but her mouth felt dry.

Kaji's hand reached up to the spot where he had kissed her. Kaji was sure about one thing, that had to be the worst explanation she had ever heard of.

Kaji quickly shook her head, hoping to shake away her red cheeks. She finally turned and began her way home.

Kaji couldn't get that thought out of her head. She was pretty sure her cheeks were still bright red. "That- basterd," Kaji mumbled, not sure what else to say, even if it was just to herself.

All in a split second, Kaji's mind went completely blank. She felt something wrap around her neck, picking her up off the ground. Her arms flew up to the thing wrapped around to neck, trying to tear it away from her neck. Her eyes darted over, hoping to catch a glimpse of whatever was holding her.

"Shiro," she snapped, keeping her eyes glued to the covered eyes of the man holding her. Shiro chuckled, "I was expecting more of a fight than this," he said, "from the Scarlet Wolf of course."

Kaji felt her heart skip a beat. Scarlet Wolf? What did he mean by that.

"Or are you unaware of your own power?" Shiro said, almost as if he had read Kaji's mind. Kaji didn't say a word.

"I guess I won't waste anymore time on chitchat," Shiro says. Kaji wasn't sure what happened next. She felt a small prick in the back of her neck, followed by a burning pain spreading throughout her whole body. Kaji was sure that she saw something red spread across her vision, but everything turned black before she could be sure.
