Although Asahi dragged his tired feet as he walked he couldn't help but have a drive to get home quicker. He hoped that his father would be there when he got home for a single question was sticking to his brain that he wished to ask.

Once he got home he ran up stairs to drop off his things and then went on a hunt for his father. He wasn't in his bedroom or his office, nor was he in the kitchen. Asahi had run right past him for Karma was laying completely still on the couch with a book covering his face. The only thing that moved was the slow rise and fall of his chest.

"I didn't even see you there," Asahi said.

"It didn't sound like it," Karma replied with his sarcastic tone. He sat up and let the book fall into his lap, he flashed his son a small smile. "How was your day?"

"Fine," Asahi took a moment, "your's?"

"Tiring," Karma replied, he did looked rather fatigued. Karma stopped and studied Asahi's face for a moment.

"You look like you want something," he said.

"W-what makes you say that?" Asahi stuttered.

"I've raised you," Karma said in a sly tone, "I know exactly what that look in your eyes mean."

Asahi paused as his mind raced. He knew exactly what he wanted to ask, he just couldn't get the words together to ask it. After what seemed like an entirety, Asahi final spoke.

"Why did you marry mom when you knew about all of the things she had done?"

Karma looked surprised, but he answered a lot quicker than Asahi had expected. "Easy, because I loved her." Asahi couldn't hide the displeased look on his face. That was not the answer he had been looking for.

The look in Karma's eyes shifted as he looked taken aback through his memories. "I guess the main reason is because I got to know the real her. All of those things she had done in the past was because she had no choice, it was what she was raised to do, and she knew nothing else. And once she opened up herself I saw nothing but a frightened girl, and I couldn't help but gravitate to that." He paused for a moment, "I could look past all those things because I knew who she really was, and I ended up loving her for those that." His voice slightly faded off, and he looked back up at his son, and Asahi wasn't sure what he was feeling at the moment. Remorse? Happiness? Thankful? It was like every emotion bunched up together.

"I probably should of waited to tell you about her, what she is that is, but I felt like it was the right time, but still...." Karma was now mumbling under his breath to himself.

"Hey, dad," Asahi said, causing Karma to lose his train of thought. "Thank you." Karma smiled.

It was the weekend so Asahi didn't have to drag himself to school that today. Instead, he found himself laying on the couch looking at his mother's picture upside down. He studied her fragile features and crimson hair, and her pretty icy blue eyes. He then shifted over to look at himself in a nearby mirror. He had known that he had always looked more like his father, but he seemed to have his mother's fragile feature, and maybe her darker red hair; but his hair always had time to either lighten up or get darker.

His amber yes caught a glimpse of movement in between the folds of the blinds that hung over a nearby window. Curious, Asahi rolled off of the couch and made his way over. He peered through and saw a women pacing back and forth on there front lawn.

She looked incredibly nervous, and that was just by her body movement. She kept her head down as she walked, with long crimson red hair following her as she walked back and forth. He saw her face for only a single second and felt his heart begin to pound against his ribs.

Asahi never thought his feet could move so fast, he had run full speed to the picture collection and snatched his mother's picture before sprinting towards the door. He ripped the door opened causing it to slam against the wall with a loud bang.

The women froze and looked right at Asahi. Asahi held up the picture and compared the two. He could recognize the crimson hair and fragile features, along with the icy blue eyes that now shown with slight fear.

Asahi thought of nothing else at the moment, and he wasn't even sure what exactly he was thinking when he dashed out towards her and nearly knocked her over when he embraced her. When he had buried his face into her clothes, Asahi felt his eyes begin to water, and he could not stop the tears from coming out.

Kaji was startled by Asahi's reaction. She had expected something completely different to happen. But she felt her heart melt and she looked down and saw her own son clinging to her so tightly. She wrapped her arms around him and just held him for what seemed like and eternity. She eventually tilted his face up and cupped his cheeks, gazing into his teary amber eyes, and she smiled brightly, with her eyes beginning to water.

"You have your father's pretty amber eyes," she said, stroking back his red hair from his face. Almost on cue, Kaji saw a figure appear in the doorway. It was Karma, who now stood frozen in the doorway with his eyes transfixed on Kaji.

Asahi removed himself from his mother and turned to look at his father, he had never seen a look like that one in his eyes.

Without saying a word, Karma stumbled towards Kaji, and as he drew closer he held out his arms, but right before they embraced Karma rammed his forehead against her, making a rather loud pop. Asahi felt himself wince at the sight.

"You bitch!" He yelled, his voice sounded heavy with emotion, "you leave me alone for so many years! So worried that something had happened to you and making me have to raise our son and-" He stopped suddenly, and buried his face into her shoulder, and began to cry. Asahi had never seen his father cry once in his whole life.

The tears also began to escape Kaji's eyes, and she could not stop them. "I am so sorry," she sobbed, wrapping on arm around Karma and the other around Asahi, bringing in close. "And I promise I'll never leave again."

It makes me rather sad knowing that I'm now down with this book, and also rather proud over the fact that I actually finished it and people are actually reading it. According to Wattpad it was about 3 years ago when I dust published this book. I just turned 16 so I must of been about 14ish. Good grief. It's weird to think about. But nether the less I am happy about this, and I am even in the works for a new story! I'll probably promote it on this one once I decide to publish it but I will say that it is a My Hero Academia fanfic!

So once again, and I know I have said this many, many times, but I really can't stress it enough, thank you guys so, so much for reading fanfic. So, until next time!
