I am proud of myself.

Luckily Kaji had sustained little damage to herself. She was sore for about a week or two and the vision in her left eye was a bit blurry so she had to keep it covered for about two weeks.

Kaji couldn't also express how she felt seeing how happy class-E was to see her safe and sound. Even though Korosensei was just rather annoying, insisting on making sure Kaji was alright. It just gave her a warm feeling. Not only that but how furious they were with Shiro, especially Korosensei.

Shiro's words did bother Kaji, about this Scarlet wolf that was apparently inside of her. She did try her best to push it away, but it just left an uneasy feeling in her gut.

However today her mind was full of something else. Today in class Korosensei had mentioned on the exams for high school, and Kaji had no idea on where to go.

She was on her way home waking alongside Karma, whose presence seemed to of changed since their whole ordeal.

"Do you know where you're going to go?" Karma asked, breaking the long silence. Kaji thought for a moment, she had a few ideas in mind. "Honestly," she said, "I was just thinking of staying at Kunugigaoka."

"Really?" Karma sounded surprised. "Any certain reasons?"

"I honestly have almost no clue on what I want to do," Kaji said, choosing her words. "I mean I have some ideas but none of them stand above the rest. And Kunugigaoka is a good school where when I do decide on something I will most likely be able to do it."

"You do know that is where I'm going, right?" Kaji could practically hear Karma's mocking smile in his voice. "I do."

There was a pause before Kaji spoke again, "Speaking of which," she said, taking a brief pause. "The other day, was that a confession?" Kaji glanced over at Karma, she could tell he had become tense, and she swore that he started to pick up his pace slightly.

"A confession of what?" Karma said, Kaji could hear a slight bit of worry in his voice. "You're worried about something," Kaji saw an opportunity to mess with Karma, and she gladly took it. "What could I possibly be worried about?" He sounded like he took extra care of these words, but Kaji could still hear the worry. "I could think of a few things," she mumbled. Karma turned his head around to look at her, "like what?" He said, in a challenge like tone. "That you like me and you're confused about your feeling and you're worried about me knowing." Kaji said this very quickly, feeling her cheeks flush red once she had finished. They both stopped walking, Karma turned to stare down at Kaji, she was unable to read his expression.

"What?" He said, he sounded like he was just trying to brush it off. "I read to many books," Kaji mumbled to herself, thinking carefully on what to say next. She felt kind of like an idiot, just standing there in silence, just gazing into Karma's amber eyes. "Do I really have to say it again?" Kaji asked, feeling her voice die right before finishing. There was a long pause.

"So," Karma said after a while, his voice was soft. "You think that I like you?" The way Karma emphasized the last two words made Kaji's heart skip a beat. What if she had been completely wrong and she had just made a complete fool of herself. Kaji just shrugged.

Then, Karma's face lit up in a bright red, almost the color of his hair. Kaji was both confused and amused by this. "So I'm right?" Kaji said, feeling her cheeks heat up even more. "No!" Karma said in a rush, "I mean, maybe?" He sounded very unsure about himself. "It's a yes or no question," Kaji mumbled, mostly for herself but Karma must of heard her. "Yes!" A very long pause followed, they both stood there, just staring at each other, unsure of what to say.

Kaji took in a deep breath and sighed. "So you really do like me?" Kaji felt her throat tighten around her words. It took Karma a moment but he nodded, slowly.

"Will this change anything?"

"Maybe?"

They once again stood in silence. Till an idea sparked in Kaji's mind. "Karma-san, could you come here for a second?" She said in a soft voice. With his cheeks still slightly red he stepped forward. Kaji stepped forward as well, making it where they were nearly touching.

"You did particularly save my life so I guess I should thank you." Kaji really couldn't believe what was coming out of her mouth, or what she was about to do. She reached up and grabbed Karma's collar, pulling his face down towards her's. She brought his face close to her's, she felt her cheeks flush as she could feel his quick breath against her skin. There lips were barely apart from each other when she stopped.

Kaji just stood there frozen. She thought that what she was doing was ridiculous, and that she had gotten Karma's feelings all wrong, and that he didn't like her in that way and she was just making a fool or herself. She was afraid that things between them would be ruined, that he would no longer even consider her a friend. This sunk deep into Kaji, and it hurt her. She hated it. She hated that it hurt her so much. It was not long ago that she didn't care about anything. What anyone thought about her or what the really did to her. And now, she's afraid that she will simply lose her friendship with one person thinking that he felt the same way.

However, Kaji's thoughts were cut short as she felt something grab the back of her head, forcing her forward. She felt Karma's lips press to her's. They were soft and warm, this surprised Kaji. It wasn't a very long kiss, but it wasn't a very short one either. When they broke away Kaji felt like she could breath again. After taking a few deep breaths she looked up at Karma. He's cheeks we're still bright red and he flashed Kaji a smile. And Kaji smiles back.
