I have not updated this story since February, wow. I apologize for that but I have just been in such a writers block it has honestly been awful. But I finally found some inspiration and basically scrapped this together. I honestly feel like a have a big responsibility now. Well, enjoy I guess?

It was rather strange. The day was nearly over and Kaji had yet to show herself. Kaji didn't seem like a person who would get sick easily and she looked perfectly fine yesterday. She also doesn't seem like someone who would just skip school all together. Surly Karma hadn't pissed her off that much?
As the day continued on there seemed to be something hanging in the air. Like the air lacked the presence that Kaji gave off, and the whole class could feel it. Like a single piece of a puzzle was missing, and it just didn't feel right.
When the bell rang and the class was dismissed, Karma's mind buzzed with only one thing, and that was Kaji. The fact that bothered him the most was that he had no idea why he couldn't get her out of his head. She was just kind of, there.
"Karma," Nagisa said, breaking Karma from his thoughts. "Is something bothering you?" He asked. Karma quickly thought up a good response. "What could possibly ever bother me?" A tiny bit of an unsure tone slipped through his normal sly attitude and he wondered if Nagisa had caught it.
His small friend simply gazed into his amber eyes for a brief moment before chuckling softly. "I guess you're right." His tone didn't sound reassuring. Either way, it seemed that both Karma and Nagisa just slid off the whole conversation.
As they exited the shabby school building a certain figure caught Karma's eye. Kaji.
For a brief moment Karma's eyes shined with excitement, but that quickly dissolved. Something was right, that could easily be seen by just the way she was walking. Slowly swaying side to side with her long scarlet hair following behind her. Not only that but as she grew closer you could tell that she had just completely ditched her school jacket and how she was hunched over with one arm wrapped around her stomach as if it was in pain. While the other hand gripped her sword that slowly trailed the ground behind her.
By now the whole class had stopped to watch Kaji wobble up the hill.
Karma's curiosity and worry over took him and he slowly walked towards Kaji, extended his hands.
"Kaji..." he mumbled under his breath as he neared closer. He lightly touched her shoulder and he felt her jump and jam her elbow into his ribs, pushing him back. Even through her clothes, Kaji felt extremely hot, her chest rose and feel as if it was an effort just to take a breath, and she hadn't even noticed Karma walking up to her till he had touched her.
Whipping her head around Kaji glared at Karma, sending a chill down his spin. "Don't touch me," she said in such a rasp tone, as if her throat was sore. And her eyes, her icy blue eyes shown nothing but hatred. But most importantly, her left eye, there was no white in it at all, where white had been has been filled by something crimson red. For reasons unknown to Karma, this stung him, making his heart drop.
Karma had still been loosely holding onto Kaji's arm when she ripped it out of his grasp. It was then that Korosensei had appeared, with a stern gaze castes upon Kaji.
"If I kill him then I can be free." She said it rather softly, in a tone that sounded like a plea for help. She slowly inched towards Korosensei, who had yet to even move an inch.
"If I kill him then I can bee free!" She said this much louder now, the words seemed to echo around the students.
She ran forward with her sword drawn, gazing at Korosensei with a pure look of hatred shining in her eyes. Korosensei moved behind her in a blur, but Kaji swung her blade around and was able to cut off a bit of one of his tentacles. Cutting a wound in her side in the process.
Startled, Korosensei retreated back, gazing at Kaji with an unsure look. Kaji stood bent over, breathing heavily and trying her best to cover her new wound. For a single second the look in her eyes changed. She looked as if she was going to cry. Then, in a single moment, she was gone.
Silence covered all of the students for a long moment. All to shocked to speak. Unsure of the red haired girl that they just saw.
Korosensei turned to his students, "Quickly," he sounded startled, "we must find Kaji-san as soon as possible. Or she will end up killing herself."
