"Children are frightening.." Kuro mumbled, sighing as he lied down on a park bench table, his brothers and their eves sitting around him. "Big Brother, you don't have an eve yet. Why don't you ever look for one?" Lawless hummed, crossing his arms,  lying them on top of Licht's head. 

"You dirty shit-rat.. How dare you touch a pure angel like me?!" Licht yelled sternly, punching the blonde in the face, then getting up to kick him a few times. "Because I don't want one, why find an eve who can't do their job correctly. You killed my last eve." Lilly laughed, patting Misono's head. "Well, my little Misono is only eight years old. I like the younger eves better, their blood is amazing and their young age is the perfect time to capture them before they age older." Misono looked at Lilly, who handed Misono a saucer with a chocolate cake with fudge drizzled on top of it, in front of him.

"Young eves are better?! Well, Licht is thirteen, so I guess he is a little young." Licht scoffed, swinging a kick to Lawless' stomach. "Don't say my name so easily, like were friends. Because were not." Kuro hummed, looking onto the playground. 

He couldn't help but notice a little boy with beautiful light brown hair, and big bulging brown eyes that could make someone lose themselves in. He was all alone, sitting in a sandbox. His clothes looked dirty and ripped up, as well as his book bag. "Oi, That kids alone. Go make him your eve, and stop loathing around on the table, Misono is obviously trying to eat." Licht pushed Kuro off of the table, then apologized. 

"Lich-tan can apologize?!" Lawless screamed,earning a kick to the face. "Don't talk directly in my face rotten hedgehog!" Licht screamed, causing the other vampires and younger eves to laugh. 

Kuro slowly walked over to the little boy, and bend down next to him. "Oi, Kid. Why are you all alone out here? and what's wrong with your clothes and bag?" The little boy looked at Kuro and smiled softly. "I like being alone, it's simple that way.." The boy answered softly, he sounded sick.  "Is anyone harming you?" The boy shook his head. "My mommy died. I have no one to take care of me, so I ran away from home." The boy started to cry again.

Kuro suddenly felt bad for the kid, no child deserves this, they deserved a nice, warm home. "I can give you a home, and I can take care of you too." Kuro held out his hand for the boy to shake. "Oh okay, I'm Shirota Mahiru, nice to meet you." He smiled, which made Kuro smile a little bit. "I'm Sleepy Ash, but you can call me Kuro." Kuro stood up, Mahiru's small hand in his as they walked back over to the bench. 

"Did you make him your eve?" Lawless jumped up in down with excitement, only to glance over at Licht who was ready to kick him anytime he'd like. 

"No, I won't do that to him this early." Mahiru looked up at Kuro and smiled, he liked Kuro, not only because he had cool icy blue hair and red rosy eyes, or because he was really tall. but he was nice, and wouldn't do anything that would scare Mahiru away from him.

thirteen years passed since then, Kuro never had the heart to make Mahiru his eve. Eventually, When Mahiru turned eighteen, he moved out of the apartment he and Kuro shared. Kuro hasn't seen the brunette since. He wandered around the streets, kicking a soda can. He felt lonely, something he hasn't felt for a very long time.

"Oh, big brother, what a surprise to meet you here~." Lilly giggled, throwing his arms around his big brother's neck, hugging him tightly. Kuro returned the hug, then pulled away, looking at Misono. "For a twenty one year old, you're still as short as ever." Kuro snickered, causing an irk mark to form on Misono's forehead. "DON'T FUCK WITH ME, I WILL MAKE YOU BOW DOWN TO ME FELINE!" Misono yelled, gathering the attention of others. 

Kuro couldn't help but smile softly, He remembered when Mahiru would yell at him like that just to clean something. "Still haven't heard from Mahiru yet have you?" Misono sighed, rubbing his temples. Lilly smiling as he stood beside his eve. 

"I haven't, apparently he has a kid now, that's what I heard from Tetsu." Misono blushed at the mention of Tetsu. "Tetsu and I do still have contact with him. Why don't we have you two meet up soon?" Kuro waved his hands and shook his head. "I don't want to be a bother to him, he hasn't talked to me all these years, I think he will be fine if I wasn't in his life." Kuro smiled sadly. which Lilly and Misono quickly picked up on. 

"I don't think he would want you saying that, He loves you Kuro. You were practically like his father." Lilly patted Kuro's head, smiling sympathetically. "Why wouldn't I say it? It's true isn't it? He has a better life going on right now than what he did when he was with me." Kuro rubbed his neck. "Kuro, you and Mahiru slept together before he moved out on his eighteenth birthday correct?" Kuro blushed slightly, turning his head away and groaned. 

"Why bring that up now? We did. What does that have to do with anything." Kuro tilted his head, then turned around when someone tapped him on the shoulder. His crimson eyes couldn't believe who he saw. 

"It's been a while, Sleepy Ash." Kuro smiled softly. "It has been a while hasn't it?" Kuro chuckled, looking down seeing a little boy with light brown hair, and big crimson colored eyes. "Well hi, What's your name little one?" The little boy looked up at the vampire and hummed. "Kuro Ash Shirota." the little boy smiled wide. "You named him after me?" Kuro looked back up to the one he was talking to. "Of course, I named him after his father." 

Kuro's eyes widened, as he looked at the now older male. "I wanted us to be a family together, sorry I haven't contacted you in a while. I was a bit afraid for your reaction." The male chuckled. Kuro smiled, embracing the male tightly. "You don't have to be afraid. Let's be a family, Mahiru."  Mahiru smiled, and brought his lips tenderly to Kuro's. 

- oh I don't know, I think this sucked ass. Man, I am slacking so much on my updates that it's crazy, Sorry to keep you guys waiting on updates for so long, I am alive so don't worry about that to much haha....

anyways my little katsudons~ how are you all? I hope you're doing well. I can't think of anything to say but thank you for almost 8K , I really feel happy knowing you guys enjoy this book, If it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't bother to continue to write. I want to write something you guys will enjoy a lot.
