When I get to Caleb's house I text him. I didn't want to ring the doorbell because it was the middle of the night. I end up waiting for a few minutes until I hear footsteps and the unlatching of the door.

"Hey"

"Hi" I say walking into his house

"So um what's up" I ask

"Well I was wondering if you wanted to talk" he says

"Yeah sure"

"Okay um follow me" he leads me to his room

I sit on the corner of the bed and face him "so what do you want to talk about?" I ask

"I don't know what to do. Charlie was my best friend he has been through thick and thin with me and Michelle I don't feel guilty about killing her but like what about her gang what if they come after us?" He says

"If they come after us we will handle it" I say

"Handle it? Handling it is what we did tonight and look at what happened. Charlie and Isaac are dead and I don't want to have to bury anyone else" he says

"Isaac did that to himself " I say

"Yeah but Charlie he didn't do anything he was only eighteen he had his whole life ahead of him, what he got he didn't deserve" Caleb says angrily

"Caleb you still have your whole life ahead of you too so make Charlie's death mean something" I say sliding under the covers next to him

"I miss him so much and he hasn't even been gone a day" Caleb says and I can hear his voice crack and see a tear fall down his check

"I miss him too" I whisper

"Thank you reese" he says

I can't help but want to make him feel better it breaks my heart seeing him like this but I don't know what to say so I whisper "kiss me" and with out hesitation he does and it feels so right.

Charlie's funeral.....

We were seated in the front row Carson, Cameron, Ella, me then Caleb and throughout the whole service he held my hand. But it baffled me on how he made me feel so happy on such a sad day. But Caleb let go of my hand when it was his turn to speak

"Charlie didn't have a family after his dad died and his mom left, but he has always had us from day one. And I've spent days thinking about what to say but I couldn't think of anything because I couldn't really grasp the fact that he is gone. His life was short but it was never dull. Everytime I saw him somethings happened and I loved him like family but death took him away but there will always be a place for him in my heart no one will ever fill." Caleb said and at this words every bit of it was true so I couldn't help but shed a tear.

After the funeral we drove to the grave site and we sat that around his grave stone and talked and talked like he was still here.
