The GangLeader and the StreetFighter

chapter 10

After the whole soccer tryouts issue I decided I needed to blow off some steam so I'm going to Johnny's tonight not only does he do streetfighting but out back he does racing so  maybe a race or two will help me relax. So I put raven hair into the perfect straight high pony tail then I put on a leather jacket, a white tank top, a pair of ripped up blue jeans with studs on the pockets and to top of the outfit my black ray bans sunglasses oh and a pair of black combat boots. once I'm dressed I pick out the keys to one of my sports cars.

I choose the keys to my 2006 ford GT she is one hot mama. When I get to my car I speed of to Johnny's. Upon my arrival I can already see it's packed I drive up to one of the spots and get out of my car and walk to registration

"Hey Johnny sign me up for a race as Lexi "

"Okay there is one happening in half an hour you will be racing Ella summers"

"Alright I'll be there..." I say then I start to walk away. Ella summers the name sounds familiar but I can't think of who it is. I spin on my heels and walk back to Johnny "hey Johnny who is Ella?" I ask

"Oh she is the blonde over there" he says pointing at the girl Carson introduced me to the other day and she is in a group with Carson, Charlie, Caleb and Cameron

I can't believe they are here like out of all the places to race out of all the days to come here they show up here and today the same day I'm here. So I think fast and hide behind the closest person to me. But unfortunately he turns and starts talking to me and he was a cutie "hello to you too my name is Isaac and I usually like to be asked out before you randomly hide behind me" he say with a goofy smile

"Hey Isaac I'm sure that line gets you a lot of girls but I really need you to shut up and stop moving I'm hiding for a reason" I say returning the smile

"Well can we move this to the bar" he ask

"Uh... Fine but you have to hide me" I say dragging him towards the bar

"Okay I'll hide you if you tell me who you are hiding from"

Does this boy never shut up.

"I'm hiding from my friends"

"Why are you hiding from your friends usually people like their friends" he asks

"You don't stop talking do you?" I ask finally sitting down

"I do sometimes but you are being mysterious" he says as the bartender gives us two red Solo cups with beer in them. "Okay so mystery girl what's your name?" He asks "see if I told you my name what would make me mysterious?" I ask with a victorious smirk "touché" he says sipping his beer. He opens his mouth to continue but Johnny uses a bull horn to call over the racers "will racer Lexi and racer summers drive to the start line"

"So you're name is Lexi?" He ask with a raised eyebrow

"Maybe it is maybe it isn't" I muse as I walk away to my car

When I get to my car and make my way to the start line. I pull up next to Ella and she turns her head and gives me a dearth stare but I turn before she realized it was me and both of our attention was drawn to the flag women in very little clothing

"Ready... Set... Go" she says before we're off

The race goes by quickly until we get to the u turn and that's when everything goes down. To get past the turn fastest you drift but if you attempt to drift to early you'll end up going around the corner slower than just doing a regular turn and that is what happened to Ella. She was doing great hell she could've even beat me but she drifted to early which slowed her down causing me to win.

I step out of my car as a crowd of cheering supporters surround me. Well I guess I have some admirers. But I manage to exit the crowd before and of my friends see me and get to Johnny's to collect my winnings.

"Here ya go champ you made 500 tonight oh and here's a hat you left it"

I take the envelop and slip on my black hat Johnny just gave me. When I approach my car I see Charlie leaning against the side.

"Hi" he greets

"Can I help you?" I ask. I wasn't trying tone rude I was just tired.

"Nope it's just me and my gang have been noticing you and we are very interested what about you?"

Their in a gang!

Once I compose myself I respond "why would you be interested in someone you don't even know"

"The past two weeks we have noticed you are skilled in combat and today you obviously showed us you are a great driver, so are you interested?" He asks

"I'm intrigued but not interested I don't even know you.....but if we keep up these lovely conversations I might become interested" I say before getting in my car and driving away not saying another word not even looking back.
