Heroes of Olympus/Magnus Chase Sickfics

I received a request from the always amazing @LostinLibraries for some Jasper and I could not be happier to oblige! I always forget how fun it is to write Jasper! I hope you like it dear!

It goes without saying that Jason Grace was a busy guy.  Always going between Camp Halfblood and Camp Jupiter, spending any downtime with Piper on some adventure, and helping to fill in the cracks wherever and whenever he was needed.  Yeah, Jason was pretty busy. He was so busy that he didn't even have the time to think about getting sick.

Jason woke up inside the Zeus cabin at Camp Halfblood.  He had gotten in late last night from Camp Jupiter.  Today was one of his very few R&R days that he planned to spend with Piper.  She had done all the planning, so at least Jason didn't have to worry about that!

Jason sat up in bed and rubbed his eyes.  He reached for his glasses and put them on.  He got up out of the bunk and padded to the bathroom to start getting ready.  Jason rubbed his face and noticed an uneasy feeling in his stomach for the first time.  

Maybe he was just hungry? 

Jason let the thought go and continued getting ready.  The discomfort in his stomach continued to grow. As he slipped on his jeans for the day, Jason noticed himself getting drained.

Please just be hungry

Jason knew he wasn't that lucky.  In a few moments he was sent running and quickly knelt over the toilet.  The contents of his stomach spilled out before him and he was left panting and leaning against the cool porcelain.

Maybe it was just a one time thing?

Jason stood and quickly brushed his teeth again.  He was fighting the nausea down once again as he walked out the door.  Jason didn't want to miss out on a rare day alone with his girlfriend, even if he was a little sick.

Jason walked over to the Aphrodite cabin and knocked on the door.  Jason groaned inwardly as Drew opened the door.

"Hey Jason."  She purred, draping herself around the door frame.

"Hi Drew.  Is Piper almost ready?"

"She's just finishing covering her huge zit."  Drew said the last part loud enough to make sure Piper heard her.

"Shut up Drew!  One of these days someone is going to put Nair in your shampoo bottle and you won't be laughing anymore."  Piper said with a sweet voice that dripped with venom.

"Hey Sparky.  You ready?"

"I'm ready when you are."

With that, Piper took Jason's hand and the two walked off. Jason pretended he didn't see Piper smirk as the door to the Aphrodite cabin slammed shut.

"What's first on the agenda?"

"I figured we could have a morning picnic in the strawberry field."

"Let's do it."

Soon enough, Piper and Jason were seated on a blanket in a clearing in the strawberry field.  Piper was eating a sandwich while Jason picked at some fruit.  Piper seemed to notice something was off and stopped eating.

"Okay, what's up?  Usually when you get back you're so hungry you could eat this entire picnic yourself.  Are you feeling okay?"

Piper made to touch the back of her hand to his cheek.  Jason halfheartedly swatted it away and immediately regretted it, seeing the poorly masked look of hurt on Piper's face.

"I'm fine Pipes, really.  I guess I'm a little tired.  I've had a lot going on lately."

"If you're sure." Piper dropped the subject but didn't look convinced.
