How I Became Savannah Solo Part 7

Tuesday August 23rd

The 5 of us woke up at different times, Laurie woke up at 9, then Maddie and 9:45, I woke up at 10, Simone at 10:10, and then Aly finally woke up at 10:30.

Simone: Finally, let's go eat lunch
Me: ooh there's this place in the upper east side that my sister and I always got to
Maddie: what's the name?
Me: Sarabeths
Maddie: I've been there! It's so good
Aly: well let's get dressed, I'm starving.

We all got up and got dressed. We did our make-up and then our hair. Once we were ready we walked to Sarabeths. We got a table and sat down. We ordered drinks and then talked about what to orders. Once we decided what we were eating we talked about where to shop first.

John: Savannah?
Me: John, it's good to see you!
John: what are you doing in New York?
Me: We are going to the VMAs on Sunday
John: oh, yeah I forgot about those, well the 5 of you should come by for dinner sometime this week
Me: alright, I'll text Chloe and see.
John: well I may see you then, bye Savannah, bye girls
Me: bye John

I sat down and our food came. We ate and talked for a while.

Laurie: who was that?
Me: my future brother in law
Simone: In New York?
Me: yeah he and my sister live here
Maddie: why didn't you tell us?
Me: I kinda forgot and plus me and my sister haven't talked since my mom passed away in July
Aly: oh
Me: yeah well where are we headed to next?
Simone: Nike!
Aly: oh here we go
Me: I like that idea, Check please?
Waiter: oh it has already been paid
Me: by Mr. Karraff?
Waiter: that's the one
Me: alright thank you

The 5 of us left and we went to the Nike outlet. Simone and I didn't get much, I got sports bras, a couple tank tops, and a pair of Air Max's. Simone got Air Max's, a pair of leggings and a couple sports bras. We checked out and headed back to the hotel.

Laurie: nap time?
Maddie: Yes!

We all agreed and climbed into bed. We set alarms for 5:30 and fell asleep. I was woken up at 4:50 by my phone ringing.

Aly: mm turn it off
Me: I am

It was Hope so I answered and went to the hallway.

Me: you interrupted my nap
Hope: boo hoo its almost dinner time anyways. How's New York
Me: good I ran into John earlier and no Chloe wasn't with him
Hope: well there is a reason why I called?
Me: yeah?

Hope: I talked to your dad and he want to talk to both of us along with your sister about things concerning you and your mom's life plan.
Me: when?
Hope: Monday in New York. I am flying in Sunday night and your dad as well.
Me: great one big happy family
Hope: Savannah, you're lucky I'm not with you right now
Me: yeah me too, well I'll see you on Monday, bye Hope.
Hope: bye medusa

I hung up with Hope and went back in the room. The girls' alarms started going off and they got up. We decided on ordering room service and watching the Vampire Diaries. 30 minutes later our food arrived and Simone went to set up Netflix.

Simone: I didn't completely think this through
Aly: what do you mean?
Simone: I forgot we couldn't watch it on the tv.
Me: yeah we can give me a sec.

I got up and unhooked a couple things from the tv and then went to my bag to get the cord and plugged into my computer.

Maddie: I didn't know you could do that.
Me: yeah I learned that last year.

I hit play and we watched a couple episodes while we ate. Laurie and I both fell asleep around 10:30.

Aly: it's crazy they aren't even 18 yet.
Maddie: I know not even out of high school yet

The 3 of them talked for a while and then went to bed.
