How I Became Savannah Solo Part 7

Wednesday and Thursday October 19th and 20th

WEDNESDAY

I woke up at 7 and woke Hope.

Me: hey its Ash's birthday, I'll meet you down at breakfast.
Hope: alright

I ran down to my room and quietly went in. Ash was asleep so I ran and jumped on her.

Me: Ashlyn!
Ash: ohh my
Me: Happy Birthday!
Ash: I fucking hate you
Me: no, you don't. Now come on we have breakfast.

Ash and I went down to breakfast and then girls sang Happy Birthday to Ash. We ate and then I had to go do school work. I did most of it and then went to lunch. Once Tobin and I ate we went to play soccer tennis. We played until 3 and then Hope called me in.

Hope: hey, so as you know only 18 suit up.
Me: yeah, and let me guess I'm not one of them.
Hope: no, you, Alyssa, Dani, Arin, Shea, Merritt, and Kealia are in the ledge box.
Me: alright, can I have my phone so I can post stuff for my endorsements?
Hope: yeah just give it back to me after the game.
Me: okay

Hope gave me my phone and I went to my room. I spent the next hour and a half posting stuff for my endorsements. At 4:30 I went down and we had a small pre-game meal. I changed and then we loaded the bus at 5:15 and headed to the stadium. The 7 of us went up to the ledge box. I sat at my own table and worked on the rest of my school work. I finished as warmups started. Alyssa came over and sat down.

Alyssa: are you doing a senior thesis
Me: yeah our topic approval is on the 27th

Alyssa: what's your topic and requirements
Me: my topic is "how can shelter dogs become more adoptable?" and the requirements are a 1,550-word paper, daily journal of however long it takes, and then a presentation which I am doing an adoption day.
Alyssa: that's a good one. When is it due?
Me: presentation is Feb 12th and the paper is Feb 24th.
Alyssa: well do you want to come sit with us?
Me: I might once the game starts, but I need to send in a couple essays for college applications and high school.
Alyssa: alright

I sent in essays as warmups ended and walkout began. I shut down my computer and the game started. I went and sat with the other girls.

Alyssa: Baby Horse this is Dani, Arin, Shea, Merritt, and Kealia. I know you haven't had a chance to meet them
Me: yeah sorry, but anyways it's good to finally know all your names.
Shea: I hope I'm not overstepping but why were you running instead of training?
Me: oh, it's a punishment from Hope
Kealia: wait what?
Me: long story short Hope is a legal guardian for me. I ignored her calls for like a week, threw a party got a ticket for breaking the noise ordinance, and haven't been going to my first hour.
Arin: damn
Me: yeah
Merritt: well where are you planning on going to college?
Me: well I've had a lot of offers but it's between Stanford and North Carolina
Kealia: Tar Heels!
Me: it's all I hear from Ash, Allie and Tobin

We talked for a little bit while we watched the game. At halftime, it was still 0-0. The girls came back and made an immediate effect. Lynn subbed in and scored a minute later. Tobin, Press and Sam each added a goal and we won 4-0. We went to the locker room and congratulated the girls. We loaded up the bus and went to the hotel. We ate dinner and then I had to give Hope my phone and rules before going to bed. 

THURSDAY

Ashlyn and I woke up at 7. We went down to breakfast. We ate and then the girls went to recovery. Hope came and got me 30 minutes later in my room.

Hope: hey Beck wants to see you
Me: alright, oh hey can you give me my phone?
Hope: after Beck
Me: ugh alright

I went to the trainer's room and found Beck. Beck evaluated my ankle and then wrapped ice on it. I went back and got my phone from Hope. While the girls got treatment and through lunch I did my school work. Once I finished everyone went up to their rooms to finish packing. We loaded the bus and went to catch our 3:30 flight. With the time difference, we landed at 6:30. We got off and went to get our bags. Everyone had their stuff but Lynn and I were still looking for ours.

Me: hey Hope if you see my bag let me know
Hope: it hasn't come down yet?
Me: obviously not
Hope: rude

We waited another 8 minutes and then the belt stopped. Lynn and I went to Robert our team manager and told him.

Robert: I talked to their flight management and they said they would have to look into it.
Me: we were only on one flight, plus my bag had our emblem on it.
Robert: I know but as of now we can't do anything. You two go load up. We will keep you updated.

Lynn and I went to the bus and got on.

Hope: so?
Me: they don't know but will keep us updated
Kelley: that sucks
Me: oh, really squirrel

We got to the hotel and checked in. We had dinner at 7:30 and then Ash and I held movie night. Once the movie ended Ash and I showered and went to bed.
