How I Became Savannah Solo Part 7

Sunday & Monday August 28th & 29th

Sunday

The 5 of us woke up at 7 and got breakfast. Today all of us had to go to our hair and make-up teams that our dress makers set up for us. Aly left and went to Ashley Paige. Simone and Maddie went to Sherri Hill; Laurie went to Dream dressed and I went to Jovani. I tried on the dress and they had to take in the top some and while they fixed the dress I had my hair and makeup done. My hair was curled and I had a smokey eye to go with my dress. By the time I was completely dressed it was 5:30.

Aly, Simone, Maddie, Laurie and I had a group message so we could meet up and get in the limo together. We agreed to meet and Sherri Hill and got in the limo. We arrived at Madison Square Garden at 6:30. We got out and walked down the red carpet. We had to stop frequently and take a lot of photos. We took individual and group pictures. Throughout the night we got to meet Taylor Hill, Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, and Ariana Grande.

The girls got to announce Beyoncé for the Best Female Video. I got to announce Fifth Harmony and Ty Dolla $ign as best collaboration video. The ceremony ended at 12 and everyone started making their way to the cars. The 5 of us got back to the hotel and around 1 and changed. We ordered room service and took off our make-up while we waited. Once we ate we all went to bed. 

MONDAY

The 5 of us woke up at 8, and we all packed our bags. While I packed, I started a post for Duke's birthday. I posted it and then Aly, Maddie, Laurie and Simone went to the airport while I headed to my sister's penthouse. With traffic, it took 40 minutes. I got out of the cab and Jeffrey the doorman got my bag.

Jeffrey: Savannah long time since I've seen you.
Me: it has, is Chloe here?
Jeffrey: yes, and your dad is too
Me: great I'm the last one. Thank you, it was good to see you Jeffrey.

I went it and took the elevator to floor 20. It opened to the penthouse and I walked in.

John: Hey Savannah, you're in the first room with Hope since the 4th bedroom isn't finished yet.
Me: alright thanks.

I took my stuff and went to my room. Hope was sitting on the bed checking emails.

Hope: I saw your post; I didn't realize you've had Duke that long already
Me: yeah I know.
Hope: Well how was your night?
Me: long
Hope: we your dad set the meeting at eleven hundred hours.
Me: scheduled as always, have you eaten yet?
Hope: yeah I did earlier
Me: alright well I am going to find something to eat
Hope: mind if I come?
Me: sure

Hope and I left and went to Grand Café on 1st Avenue. I ordered my food and both of us got coffee. We walked back to the apartment. By the I finished eating it was 11 and my dad came to the dining room table with a folder. John and Chloe came out after.

Dad: well now that we could all meet in person we have a lot to talk about. First, your mom's life insurance was worth 6 million, so divided by the 3 of us we each were given 2 million. Savannah, you will be able to access yours when you turn 18.
Chloe: when does it drop?
Dad: once we sign the papers it will take a week so on September 5th
Me: what about the house?
Dad: It's all paid off so after you graduate I'm not sure. We can figure that out later.
Chloe: okay
Dad: alright well now you Savannah
Me: what about me?
Dad: well your mom had left you in charge of any accounts she has. Also, Hope had become
your primary guardian since I am not in the country most of the time.
Me: Alright
Dad: well the last thing is her will. We each have a copy of what she left us. Chloe anything you want from the house I'm sure Savannah can ship to you.
Me: yeah sure why not?
Dad: Savannah
Me: I said I would didn't I
Dad: okay well that's all, other than signing these.

My dad and Hope signed first and then Chloe and I did. John signed for the witness and then we were done.

Chloe: so, what is everyone's plan?
Dad: well I leave at sixteen hundred hours tonight
Hope: my flight is tomorrow at 11.
Me: well I don't have a flight yet, I wanted to ask you if you could squeeze me in for a whitening.
Chloe: sure, tomorrow you can come in with me and you can be the first of the day.
Me: thank you, I'll schedule my flight for around lunch.

Hope and I went to our room and I booked my flight for 11:15.

Hope: Have you worked out since the final?
Me: yeah I did on Wednesday and Friday at Gotham Gym.
Hope: well after a snack do you want to go for a run?
Me: sure, if you can keep up
Hope: watch it Baby Horse

Hope and I changed into workout clothes and then found stuff to make sandwiches. We ate and then went to central park. We ran on Park Drive and talked.

Hope: people are taking photos
Me: they have been since I got here
Hope: well is there a reason you don't want to go back to school>
Me: I don't to go back to high school, I mean who would? Yeah I want to cheer and play soccer but I don't want to deal with the people, or work, or my teachers.
Hope: well that's life Savannah, you're 17 and your high school.
Me: I know! It's just that everyone has treated me like an adult and could make my own decisions and now I can't even get to go to the bathroom without asking.
Hope: well you only have 3 classes and I'm just a phone call away, plus I know you miss Duke and Brad.
Me: awe yeah I do
Hope: see, well how is your ankle?
Me: uh well it hasn't gotten any better but I'm used to it now
Hope: well if you decide to have the surgery, I want to be there
Me: I'll let you know
Hope: race you back to the Café
Me: why do you like to lose?

I easily beat Hope to the café and we got a table outside. We ordered food and ate. We walked back to the penthouse and showered. Hope and I put on clean clothes and then put on a movie.

Hope: how did you sleep this week?
Me: fine, but I wasn't alone, what if I can't sleep alone?
Hope: you never know until it happens so
Me: there's no need to worry until then
Hope: exactly

Our movie finished and then my dad was getting ready to ready to leave.

Chloe: bye dad, let me know when you plan on coming home.
Dad: bye Chlo
Me: bye daddy
Dad: bye squirt, try to be on your best behavior
Me: I will
John: bye sir

Dad: bye John take care of her for me
John: always sir
Hope: goodbye General
Dad: I know you don't stay with her 24/7 but keep medusa in line for me
Hope: I'll do my best, it's not easy
Dad: no, it's not
Me: I'm still right here
Hope: oh, come on

We all hugged my dad and then he left for the airport. At 7 John and Chloe made dinner. We fixed our plates and sat down.

Hope: how come Chloe can cook but you can't?
Chloe: because I actually learned from Lydia and plus John taught me too
Me: yeah true I never wanted to learn to cook so I didn't.

The 4 of us ate and then we all watched Game of Thrones until 11. Hope and I went to our room and got into bed.

Me: so after my whitening, I'll come back here and then we can go to the airport.
Hope: that works for me. Have you talked to Kelley at all?
Me: we've snapchatted but we haven't actually talked.
Hope: well she's playing this weekend
Me: are you?
Hope: depends on how I feel when I get back
Me: well I hope you do
Hope: thank you, goodnight Baby Horse
