How I Became Savannah Solo Part 7

Thursday December 8th

Garvin: Savannah! It's 6:10 and I want you down in 15? ... A response would be nice!
Me: yeah, I'm up
Garvin: thank you

I out on my Navy uniform and came down stairs. I sat down and ate. I went up back up to put my hair up and do my makeup. I grabbed my bag and came back down. Garvin gave me my phone and I gave Duke his breakfast.

Garvin: hey, Todd had to leave early so can you drop Noah off please?
Me: uh sure
Garvin: also 8 o'clock again tonight
Me: yes mam, also can I get lunch with Megan and Caroline again?
Garvin: I'll be home at 2:30 and then you can go
Me: alright well come on Noah we have to get to school

I put Noah in his car seat and headed to his daycare. I dropped him off and then went to school. I had to go take a test for English and then went straight to Garvin's class.

Garvin: hey Mrs. Brothers could use some help in the gym. I'll send Kiley and Claire when they get here.
Me: alright

I went down to the gym and helped hang some banners. Claire and Kiley came in and we finished setting up. Everyone started filling in and my last high school pep rally started. Cheer did our dance and then we had pep rally games. The game was a relay race with different ways of getting there and back. The senior and juniors won and then raiders set up for their dance.

We did the final bleacher battle with the seniors winning. The boogie band came out and played. In between the boogie band going off and the drumline coming on the band played the song "Neck" that had been banned my freshman year. The whole student body rallied up and sang the wrong lyric "Suck that Rebel Dick" instead of "Talkin out the side of your Neck". The song ended and the drumline closed. The administration cleared everyone out as quickly as possible.

Garvin: alright girls come in. Now you know the guys are leaving tomorrow morning. I expect you there at 6:45 to send them off. I will send out a text with what time and where to meet on Saturday. That is all. I will see you all tomorrow morning.

We all got up and went to 3rd hour. About 10 minutes later I was called down to Mr. Ainsworth's office. On the way, down I ran into Brad, Kiley, Justin, Nick, and Ty.

Ty: this is about Neck?
Justin: well look no matter what, all of us new nothing about it.
Kiley: I mean we really can't get in trouble can we?
Nick: if we don't say anything we'll be good

We all went down and went to Mr. Ainsworth's office. Not only was Mr. A there but Mr. Lane, Mr. Grant, Mr. Remedies, Mrs. Peirce, Mrs. Garvin, Coach Garvin, and Blake the drumline captain were sitting down.

Mr. A: have a seat please. Between all of you I know that one of you knows that the song was planned. I want to know who planned it and when
Nick: sir with all due respect none of us had anything to do with it
Mr. Lane: So you're telling me, the drumline captain, student section leaders, cheer and football captains knew nothing
Blake: yes sir, that is what we are saying
Mrs. Peirce: really the kids that run this school didn't know what was going on
Me: look even if we did the whole school participated, I mean you can't suspend everyone
Mr. Remedies: no but suspending the lot of you would send a message
Coach Garvin: whoa you're talking about suspending your QB 1 and best wide receiver for some stupid song in which they did not play, now how is that right?
Mr. A: we're not going to suspend them. We just want to know who planned it
Justin: well it was not us, why don't you try the kids who played it
Mr. Lane: well I can see that this is going nowhere. I'm sure all of you are done after 3rd so you are excused to leave now. 

All of us got up and walked out. Brad walked me to my car but instead of opening the door he pinned me to it.

Brad: God you're hot when your sassy
Me: God you're horny
Brad: okay maybe a little, but think about every night before I've left for the dome and the sendoff that we have of our own
Me: well I mean I'm already grounded so what do you say to meeting me at my house after the game so we keep the tradition alive
Brad: I think that's a great idea.

We made out until we were interrupted.

Coach Garvin: Solo! Evans! Quit sucking face and Solo go get my kids
Me: uh yeah sorry coach.
Coach Garvin: and Evans
Brad: sir?
Coach Garvin: go anywhere but near her
Brad: uh yes coach.

Brad and I awkwardly split and I went to get the boys. I brought them to Garvin's and Lydia brought over lunch. The boys ate and then took their naps. Once they woke up we went to the playroom and played trains.

Garvin: Boys, Savannah I'm home!

We all came racing down and once Garvin said I could go I was out the door. I met Megan and Caroline and we sat down and ate.

Caroline: when are your guys leaving tomorrow?
Megan: I think like 8
Me: I have no idea
Caroline: ooh you have to ride with Garvin and her kids don't you?
Me: I have since Sophomore year. First year with Noah and Duke but we'll make it work.

We finished eating and headed to the stadium. We got dressed and went out for warmups. We out on our jerseys and got our break. I sent the ball back and took off. Megan sent it long and I chased it down. It was me and the goalie and I place it in the upper right 90 to make it 1-0. We set back up and Darkwood kicked off.

Connor won the ball and she won a corner. Mary sent it in and Caroline won it and knocked it in to make it 2-0. Mary scored the next one assisted by Anna and I had the last goal to make 4-0 before half.

We took the field and Darkwood kicked off. In the next 20 minutes, we had 4 goals to put the mercy rule into effect. Caroline, Megan Connor and I all scored. We got a cool down and turned in our jerseys. We were free to go and Brad and I went to my house.

Brad: great game tonight
Me: why thank you, why don't you join me in a shower
Brad: I mean I wasn't going to say anything but you kind of smell
Me: oh shut up
Brad: make me.

Brad and I "showered" and then moved to my room and finished our send off. It was past 9 and I had 3 missed calls from Garvin, 2 missed calls from Hope, and not to mention the 10 texts between the two of them.

Me: well I'm in the dog house
Brad: how bad?
Me: 2 calls and 6 texts from Hope
Brad: was it worth it?
Me: definitely, but I better go. I will see you tomorrow morning
Brad: alright bye baby. I love you
Me: I love you too babe

I got dressed and headed to Garvin's. I parked and Duke and I went in.

Garvin: where the hell have you been?
Me: with Brad.
Garvin: doing what and where?
Me: at my house and what do you think we were doing?
Garvin: seriously Savannah! The least you could have done was tell me you would be late.
Me: and we would be where we are now.
Garvin: well you better make sure you have your stuff packed for this weekend because we are leaving when the players are.
Me: yes mam
Garvin: and Hope will be calling you and if you think I was mad you have another thing coming
Me: great well goodnight
Garvin: goodnight Savannah

I went upstairs and began packing my bag. My phone rang and I knew it was Hope.

Me: Hope.
Hope: Savannah Blaire Solo! you better be thankful that it was not me waiting for you tonight
Me: ok
Hope: this world is not all about you and your wants. You directly disobeyed Jayme just to go have sex, like are kidding me?
Me: like you wouldn't have?
Hope: this is not about me right now, this is about you
Me: you just said the world isn't all about me
Hope: you better be fucking glad I'm not there to knock the shit out of you
Me: well look I need to pack and got to bed.
Hope: we are not done with this conversation.
Me: fine but it's 12 and I need to pack still
Hope: I will call you tomorrow
Me: alright
Hope: and let me tell you, if you miss my call, New York will be hell for you
Me: alright I'll pick up geez, goodnight
Hope: goodnight

I hung up and finished packing. I went and grabbed a snack and then went to bed.
