CHAPTER THREE:
THE REJECTIONFor some reason I had been feeling amazing ever since I woke up this morning. Perhaps it was the weather that got me feeling like this. Speaking of weather, I have to take a run later. 'Please remind me to take a run, Alex.' I reminded.
'Don't worry.' I could imagine her happy dancing in the back of my mind. I smiled and shook my head at her stupidity. 'Hey, I heard that!'
'Right, I'm sorry.' I smiled sheepishly.
"I see, you're talking to your wolf again." Skylar teased.
"Yes, I was telling her to remind me to take a run later. Got a problem?" I asked with a raised brow.
He raised his hands in surrender, "Nope, not a problem." he smirked.
"Very well, then." I sighed and focused back on Mr. Blackheart, who was looking at Sky and I, like he's gonna rip our heads off.
Skylar and I chuckled before continuing with our work.
"Well, class, I want you and the person you're sitting next to, to do a research on a character in the history and your deadline will be the end of next month." Mr. Blackheart explained.
I grinned widely and looked at Skylar, while he did the same.
"So who do you want to choose?"
I frowned, "Hmm, I don't know. Who do you want to choose?"
"Well, I don't know. I really hate these things. But working with you makes it better."
"Aww, thank you." I pinched his cheek, knowing that he hates it.
"Do not, touch my cheeks!" he glared at me, making me giggle.
"I met a girl yesterday. Her name's Sophia. She's great." I said, suddenly remembering her.
He rolled his eyes at my randomness. "Okay, but she better not replace me." he warned.
"Jelly much?" I giggled. "Don't worry, she won't." I wrapped my arms around him.
He chucked and hugged back. I pulled away and we started talking about other random things, such as, his girlfriend and parents.
"Hey, why don't you come over to the pack house today. We could hang out with Stella a bit. And there is a dinner too. Everyone will be there." I smirked at him teasingly.
"Sure, why not?"
*_*_*
"Hey that was mine!!" I whined.
Mark and I were currently at Billy's, because he was too stressed out after all the patrolling the entire night. I was hoping they would find the rogues soon.
"Skylar's picking me up later. We'll be going to the pack house." I said, hoping he didn't have any objections.
"Okay, fine. But please be careful." he said placing his hand on mine.
"Will do!" I grinned like a idiot.
I wondered what the pack house would look like. Realization hit me that I would finally meet the Alpha and his family. I felt myself getting even more excited than I already was.
"Did you get any news of those Rogues?" I questioned.
"No, actually not. We're close to tracking them down. Alec said that he'll mind link me if there's something wrong. But I doubt that there are only a few of them," he sighed.
