The next day came quickly. It was like I was in the office of the main building in a blink of an eye.

"Ms. (L/N), your teacher is awaiting your arrival in class now," the office lady announced to me. I shakily nodded my head yes and walked down the long, empty hallway. Eventually I reached the classroom I belonged in. I lightly knocked on the door and it opened with a smiling teacher.

"You must be (F/N) (L/N). Please sit next to Asano. Asano raise your hand," the teacher announced. An orange haired boy with violet eyes rose his hand. My heart jumped out of my chest at the slight resemblance he had with Karma. My chest ached just thinking about him.

I sat down in the seat next to the boy and stared at the board as the teacher taught. My mind couldn't even focus on the lesson being taught. I was too nervous and out of place to even pay attention.

"Ms. (L/N)?" The teacher asked. I blinked a few times and looked at the teacher.

"I'm sorry, what did you say?" I asked. A few chuckles echoed throughout the room.

The teacher smiled in a patronizing way. "Can you please tell us the answer to the question on the board?"

I stared at the complex math problem on the board. I sighed and rolled my eyes. So they don't expect an E Class kid to get this kind of stuff. "It's x equals three root fifteen to the second power," I muttered. "You know, if you wanted to throw me off, you kind of blew it," I said with a smirk. The teacher huffed and went on droning about the lesson.

When it was time for lunch, I just stayed in my seat. I didn't want to eat, I just wanted to go home. It was funny how much I hated school now that I was in A Class.

"Ms. (L/N)?" A voice from beside me asked.

"Who's asking?" I asked, lifting my head up to meet the purple eyes of the Karma lookalike.

He chuckled. "Hello, I'm Asano Gakushu. I have been instructed to show you around the school."

I faked a smile. "Cool," I said and stood from the seat. He led me out of the room and walked down the hall with me pointing out various rooms. We eventually reached the courtyard area.

"That's all of it. I'm sure it is quite the upgrade from the E Class building," he said with a chuckle.

I faked a small smile. "Yeah, it's a bit overwhelming," I lied.

"(F/N)?" An all too familiar voice asked. My heart nearly shattered. I turned to see the redhead. I decided to keep it cool.

"Oh, hey, Karma," I said with a smile.

"What are you doing here?" Asano spat at Karma with disgust.

"Oh, just hanging in the library with some classmates," he said, his eyes on me the whole time.

"(F/N), I was just going ask you if you'd like to join me for lunch in the cafeteria," Asano suddenly said. Hmm, maybe he knew something was going on between Karma and I. I looked at him and he smiled. I didn't care if he was doing this genuinely or just doing it to bother Karma.

"I'd love that," I smiled. He offered me his arm and I looped my arm through his. I looked to Karma and it was like I could see steam spewing from his ears. "Goodbye, Karma," I sweetly said even though those two words broke my heart. Asano and I both turned to walk down the hall and started our way to the cafeteria.

"(F/N)," Karma called. I turned around.

"What?" I asked. It looked like he was almost going to say something heartfelt and nice.

"Lunch is ending soon, (F/N)," Asano commented. Karma's face twisted with annoyance.

"Nothing," Karma brushed it off. "I hope you're happy," he spat and walked off.

I took a deep breath of relief. Asano looked at me with questioning eyes. I rolled mine and chuckled. "Long story," I muttered.

He looked at his watch. "We have another thirty minutes of lunch. Is that enough time?" He asked with a smile.

I laughed. "You're just doing this because you hate Karma."

"Well, that's a great bonus, but I am interested in you. You surprised me in the classroom when you answered that question. I'm curious about you, (F/N)," he said and I blushed.

"Well, thanks, but I'm not special," I shrugged.

We walked back into our classroom. I pulled out my lunch and we walked to a place outside to eat. Once we were settled I told Asano about me and Karma's relationship. He listened and it felt kind of good to tell someone about it.

"So you only dated for three days and he already fought with you?" Asano questioned.

"Yes. I'm fed up with him," I groaned, putting my head in my hands.

I felt a hand on my back. I looked up and Asano was smiling lightly. "Well, I'm here if you ever need to speak."

At the end of the day, I walked out of the school building hauling a heavy backpack behind me. Just as I reached the road, Nagisa, Karma, Kayano and Nakamura came out from the path to the E Class building.

"Oh, hey, (F/N)," Nagisa said, avoiding eye contact with me. I wanted to tell them how much I missed them even after a single day but I couldn't find the words.

"Hi," I replied.

"How's A Class?" Nakamura asked. I bit my lip and my eyes met with Karma's. He was awaiting my answer as well.

I sighed. "I'm not sure. It's only been a day," I lied. "But I mi-"

"(F/N)!" Someone yelled. I turned around and saw my aunt standing outside a black SUV. "Come on, darling! We're going to miss our dinner reservation!" She called.

I turned back to my former classmates. "I have to go," I quietly said. Without another word, I scurried off to my aunt's car. As we drove away, I could see the sad faces of my classmates. I had to find a way to get back into E Class.
